3. Import the clean file back

You get three files: valid, risky and invalid, each with every column from the original export. Import the valid file back into Woodpecker or your sending tool, and keep risky addresses (usually catch-all domains) out of cold sends.

Common questions

How do I export my prospects from Woodpecker?
In Woodpecker, open the Prospects section. Tick the prospects you want to export, or click Select all X prospects. Click the Export icon to download the CSV. To export one campaign's prospects, open the campaign, go to PROSPECTS, select them, then choose Export as .csv from the Actions tab. A filter of Contacted: No exports only the people you have not emailed yet.
Do I need to change the Woodpecker CSV before uploading it?
No. The email column is found by its header or its contents, so the Woodpecker export works as it is. Every other column is kept, and the cleaned files come back with your original columns so you can import them straight back into Woodpecker.
Why verify a list that came from Woodpecker?
Lead databases go stale as people change jobs, and a bounced cold email counts against your sending domain the same as any other. Verifying the Woodpecker export before it goes into a sequence keeps the bounce rate under the roughly 2% line where mailbox providers start filtering, and it catches catch-all domains you should not send to blind.
How much does it cost?
Verification is $29.99 a month with no limit on verifications, for files up to 100,000 rows. See the pricing page for the plans.
