Best domain age checkers (2026)
Quick answer: To check the age of many domains without an account, SimpleVerifier's bulk domain age checker takes up to 500 unique domains a run, read from each registry's RDAP record. SmallSEOTools and Duplichecker take 10 at a time. ICANN Lookup, Whois.com and who.is look up one domain at a time and show the creation date in the registration record.

How we compared
We read each tool's own page on 19 October 2026 for its per-run limit, signup and price. Domain age here means time since the registration date in the registry's record; tools that estimate age from archive snapshots are a different measure. We did not test accuracy.
Each tool in a few lines
1. SimpleVerifier bulk domain age checker(our tool)
Best for: Scoring a lead or domain list by age, with CSV export
- Reads the registration date from each TLD's own RDAP registry
- Also returns expiry, registrar and status, with CSV download
- Watch out: While a sign-in test runs, some visitors are asked to sign in (free, with Google) after 25 rows; everyone else gets the full run without an account.
- Watch out: Some ccTLDs publish no RDAP record, so their age can't be read

Common questions
- How do I check how old a domain is?
- Look up its registration record (RDAP or WHOIS) and read the creation date. A domain age checker does the lookup and the arithmetic: today minus the registration date.
- Can I check the age of many domains at once?
- Yes. SimpleVerifier's bulk domain age checker takes up to 500 unique domains a run without an account and exports a CSV. SmallSEOTools and Duplichecker take 10 at a time.
- Why does a domain's age sometimes look newer than the website?
- Age is counted from the current registration. If a domain lapsed and was registered again, the registry shows the new date, even if a website existed on the name years earlier.
- Why can't some domains' age be found?
- Some country-code registries do not run RDAP or publish creation dates. SimpleVerifier reports those as not found rather than guessing.
- Does domain age affect email deliverability?
- Newly registered domains are treated with more suspicion by some spam filters, which is why cold email senders warm up new domains. Age is one signal among many, not a score on its own.
