Bulk domain expiry checker: when does every domain on your list expire?

A bulk domain expiry checker finds when every domain on a list expires. Paste domains, emails or URLs, or upload a CSV, and each domain is looked up on its registry's RDAP server, the successor to WHOIS. You get expiry date, days left and registrar, grouped from expired to 90+ days, with a CSV download.

Read in your browser. Only the unique domains are sent, to be looked up on each registry's RDAP server. Up to 5,000 rows and 500 unique domains per run.

How do I check the expiry dates of a list of domains?

  1. Paste domains, email addresses or website URLs, one per line, or upload a CSV of up to 5,000 rows and 500 unique domains. The column with domains or addresses is found for you.
  2. Press Check expiry dates. Only the unique domains are sent, 20 at a time, and each is looked up on its own registry's RDAP server.
  3. Filter by expired or in grace, under 30 days, 30–90 days, 90+ days or unknown, and sort by expiry date, domain or registrar.
  4. Download the domains as CSV, or your original rows with the expiry columns added, and renew the urgent ones at your registrar.

Example

You enter
A pasted list or CSV containing acme.example.
You get
acme.example expires on 13 August 2027, grouped under 90+ days, registrar Example Registrar, Inc. Domains whose registry publishes no RDAP show Unknown. Download the domains, or your rows with expiry columns added.
Limits
Up to 5,000 rows and 500 unique domains a run, and 1,000 domains per ten minutes per connection, shared with the bulk age and WHOIS tools. Some visitors without an account get the first 25 rows and sign in for the rest.

How do I check when many domains expire?

Put the list above and press Check expiry dates: each domain's registry is asked for its expiration event, and the days left are counted from today. The registry for each top-level domain comes from IANA's RDAP bootstrap file (RFC 9224), and the date is read from that registry's own server in the format set out in RFC 9083. It's the same lookup the bulk domain age checker runs, read for the other end of the registration.

Email addresses and URLs are reduced to their domain first, and a subdomain such as mail.acme.co.uk is looked up as the registered name, acme.co.uk. Lookups run five at a time, 20 domains per request, so no registry gets flooded.

What does expired or in grace mean?

It means the expiry date has passed, or the registry lists a status that only appears after expiry: autoRenewPeriod, redemptionPeriod, pendingRestore or pendingDelete. ICANN's EPP status codes page explains each one. For generic TLDs, a lapsed name usually passes through a registrar grace period, then a redemption period in which it can still be restored at extra cost, then deletion.

A registry can also renew a name automatically on its expiry date while the registrar decides whether to keep it, so the expiry date can jump a year ahead with autoRenewPeriod set. That's why this tool reads the status codes and doesn't rely on the date alone. Your registrar account shows the exact renewal state and price, and it has the final word.

Why do some domains show as Unknown?

Because some registries don't publish RDAP. When we checked IANA's bootstrap file on 19 October 2026, country-code TLDs including .io, .co, .me, .de, .us, .eu and .it had no RDAP service listed, so their expiry dates aren't available here. Others return a record without an expiration event. We don't fall back to third-party mirrors, which can answer "not found" for names that are plainly registered.

A registry can also be slow or rate-limit lookups, which shows as "Registry didn't answer". Run those rows again a few minutes later. For a single name on a TLD without RDAP, the WHOIS lookup links to the registry's own WHOIS server.

Is this faster than checking expiry dates one domain at a time?

Who uses this tool, and for what?

Cold emailers
Check every secondary sending domain at once, so none lapses mid-campaign and takes its inboxes and warm-up with it.
Agencies
Pull expiry dates and registrars for all client domains into one CSV, sorted by days left, ahead of a renewal review.
Sales ops
Flag accounts whose domain has expired or sits in a grace period. A lapsed domain usually means the mailboxes on it no longer work.
IT and security teams
Audit a domain portfolio for names close to expiry, since an expired brand or lookalike domain can be re-registered by someone else.

What can’t this tool tell you?

  • TLDs without RDAP, including .io, .co, .me and .de, return no expiry date. Those rows show as Unknown.
  • The registry's date can differ from your registrar's renewal state, especially during an auto-renew period. The registrar has the final word.
  • Days left are counted in whole days from the time of the lookup, in UTC.
  • Up to 500 unique domains per run, and 1,000 per ten minutes from one connection, shared with the bulk domain age checker and bulk WHOIS lookup.
  • We can't promise every registry answers or publishes every field; missing data shows as Unknown, never a guess.

Common questions

How can I check the expiry date of multiple domains?
Paste them above, one per line, or upload a CSV, and press Check expiry dates. Up to 500 unique domains are looked up per run, each on its registry's RDAP server, with days left, registrar and a CSV download.
Is this bulk domain expiry checker free?
Yes, it's a free tool with no card or payment. Short lists run without an account; for longer lists you may be asked to sign in with Google first, which is free too. One connection can look up 1,000 domains per ten minutes.
Can I renew a domain after it expires?
Usually, for a while. Generic TLDs typically allow a grace period at the registrar, then a redemption period in which the name can be restored for an extra fee, before it's deleted and released. Country-code registries set their own rules, so ask your registrar.
Why is the expiry date different at my registrar?
Registries often renew a name automatically on its expiry date and record the new date, while the registrar is still waiting for you to pay. A status of auto renew period means that. Your registrar's account is the source of truth for renewal.
Are my email addresses uploaded?
No. The list is read in your browser and only the unique domains are sent to our server for the RDAP lookups. Addresses and other columns stay on your device.
