Verify an email list free

You can verify the first 100 addresses of an email list free on SimpleVerifier: sign in with Google, paste the addresses or upload a CSV, and each one gets a syntax check, an MX lookup and a live mailbox check where the provider allows it, with valid, risky and invalid results to download. No card is needed. Larger lists continue on a plan from $9 a month.

The free checks run on the same engine as the paid plans, so what you see on 100 addresses is what you would get on the whole list. Each address you check uses one; duplicates in the same file are not counted.

If you only want to see what is in a file before checking anything, the email list health check reads a CSV in your browser and reports duplicates, role addresses, free-mail share and broken syntax, without sending the addresses anywhere and without an account.

Test it on a real address first

Type any address. It gets the same check the paid plans run: syntax, the domain’s mail servers and, where the provider allows it, a live mailbox check. Nothing is sent to the address.

Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.

Have a list? Sign in with Google and the first 100 addresses are checked free, with results to download. No card.

What the free checks include

Every check: syntax and normalisation, the domain's MX records, 9,913 disposable domains, role addresses such as info@ and sales@, catch-all detection and, where the mail server allows it, an SMTP conversation that asks whether the mailbox exists without sending an email.

Some large consumer providers do not confirm mailboxes to anyone. Addresses there are returned as risky with the reason, not as valid, so the valid file only holds addresses a server actually confirmed.

What other verifiers give free

Most verifiers let you test before paying. In each vendor's own terms, read from its pricing page:

ZeroBounce: 100 validations a month on its Freemium plan.

NeverBounce: Free credits to test your first list, no card required (amount not stated on the pricing page).

Hunter.io: 50 credits a month on the Free plan (a verification costs 0.5 credits).

Clearout: 100 credits, one time, with no expiry.

Kickbox: 100 verifications.

Bouncer: 100 free credits, no card required.

MillionVerifier: 100 free credits on a new account, no card required.

DeBounce: 100 free credits on signup, no card.

Emailable: 250 free credits for every new account.

EmailListVerify: 100 free email verifications on registration.

Test any of them the same way: invent an address at a real domain and check it. A tool doing real mailbox checks returns invalid or risky; one checking only syntax and MX returns valid.

After the free checks

Starter is $9 a month for 2,500 emails a month and Growth $19 a month for 10,000 emails a month; unused emails don't roll over. Pro is $29.99 a month, never cut off: the first 100,000 emails a month run at full speed, then big lists run slower, and includes the API (10,000 calls a month included, then $1.50 per 1,000) and the email finder. Every plan is monthly, cancels anytime, and you can try 100 checks free before you pay; fees are non-refundable once charged.

Common questions

Can I verify an email list for free?
Yes, the first 100 addresses. Sign in with Google, paste or upload the list, and those addresses get the full check with results to download. No card is needed.
Are the free checks the same as the paid ones?
Yes. They run on the same engine with the same mailbox check, and return the same valid, risky and invalid results.
What happens to the rest of my list?
The first 100 addresses are checked and the rest wait. If you choose a plan, the rest of the list is checked on it; if not, nothing else happens and you are not charged.
Do you send an email to the addresses?
No. The mailbox check talks to the recipient's mail server and stops before any message is sent.
