Verify your Constant Contact export before you send
Export your contacts from Constant Contact as a CSV, upload it to SimpleVerifier as it is, and every address gets a live mailbox check. You download valid, risky and invalid files with your original Constant Contact columns kept, ready to import back.
1. Export the CSV from Constant Contact
- In Constant Contact, open the Contacts page. Search or filter by email status or list status if you only want part of it.
- Select a contact, then click the Select all contacts link.
- Click Actions > Export selection.
- Tick the contact fields to include and click Export.
- Download the CSV from your import/export activity.
You can also export a single list, segment or tag. Exporting makes a copy and does not remove contacts from the account.

Common questions
- How do I export my contacts from Constant Contact?
- In Constant Contact, open the Contacts page. Search or filter by email status or list status if you only want part of it. Select a contact, then click the Select all contacts link. Click Actions > Export selection. Tick the contact fields to include and click Export. Download the CSV from your import/export activity. You can also export a single list, segment or tag. Exporting makes a copy and does not remove contacts from the account.
- Do I need to change the Constant Contact CSV before uploading it?
- No. The email column is found by its header or its contents, so the Constant Contact export works as it is. Every other column is kept, and the cleaned files come back with your original columns so you can import them straight back into Constant Contact.
- Why verify a list that came from Constant Contact?
- Subscribers who signed up years ago move jobs, abandon inboxes or typed their address wrong. Every send to a dead address in Constant Contact is a bounce on your sender reputation, and many ESPs bill by contact count, so removing dead addresses also lowers the bill.
- How much does it cost?
- Verification is $29.99 a month with no limit on verifications, for files up to 100,000 rows. See the pricing page for the plans.
