Monitoring for cold emailers
Add the domains you send from and SimpleVerifier checks them every day: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blocklists. When something changes, you see it on a timeline with the exact record to fix. You can also have a finished list re-verified every 30 days, so addresses that went bad since your last send come out before your next one. Included in the paid plans.
What is checked every day
MX
The domain has mail servers, so replies to your cold emails arrive. A null MX or a missing record is flagged.
SPF
One valid SPF record within the 10-DNS-lookup limit. Going over the limit fails SPF for every message, and it is easy to do by adding one more sending tool.
DKIM
A signing key on about 80 common selectors plus the one you give us, with key length and test mode checked.
DMARC
A single valid record and its policy. p=none is shown as something to improve; a missing or broken record as something to fix.
Blocklists
The IPs your domain controls (single IPs in SPF, a self-hosted MX) on Barracuda, SpamCop, PSBL and Mailspike, and the domain itself on URIBL and NordSpam. Spamhaus is not queried: its free service is for non-commercial use, so check it on Spamhaus's own page.
The checks are the same ones behind the free email domain health checker. A lookup that times out is left out for that day instead of being reported as a failure, so a slow DNS answer doesn't raise a false alarm.
Changes, alerts and fixes
Each check is stored, so every domain has a history. When a check gets worse (DMARC removed, SPF over the lookup limit, an IP or the domain newly listed), it becomes an alert on the Monitoring page with the fix written out. When it recovers, that goes on the timeline too. Alerts are in the app; email alerts are not available yet.
Re-check a list every 30 days
- Off until you turn it on for a list. Before you do, the page shows how many addresses each run checks and what it uses from your plan.
- Only the valid and risky addresses are kept. Invalid ones found on a run are dropped from the next run.
- A run is an ordinary verification on your plan: Starter and Growth use the monthly allowance (a run is skipped, not charged elsewhere, if too little is left), and Pro, Business and Agency count it toward the monthly full-speed volume.
- Runs use the slower shared lane and start only on a day with spare check capacity, so your own uploads always go first.
- Turning it off deletes the saved addresses.

Questions
- What does SimpleVerifier Monitoring check?
- Each sending domain you add is checked once a day for MX, SPF (including the 10-lookup limit), DKIM on common selectors plus your own, DMARC, and free public blocklists. When a result changes, it goes on a timeline with the exact fix.
- Is Monitoring included in every plan?
- It is included in the paid plans: Starter 1 domain, Growth 3, Pro 10, Business 25 and Agency 100. Free checks and trials do not include it.
- Does the 30-day list re-check cost extra?
- No extra charge. A re-check is an ordinary verification on your plan: on Starter and Growth it uses your monthly allowance, and on Pro, Business and Agency it counts toward the monthly full-speed volume. It is off until you turn it on for a list, the page shows the number of addresses before you do, and it never uses pack credits.
- How will I hear about a problem?
- Alerts show on the Monitoring page in your dashboard, with the fix. Email alerts are not available yet.
- Does Monitoring send anything to my domain?
- No. Domain checks are DNS lookups only. The list re-check uses the same mailbox check as a normal upload, which connects to the recipient's mail server and never sends a message.
