Verify your GetResponse export before you send

Export your contacts from GetResponse as a CSV, upload it to SimpleVerifier as it is, and every address gets a live mailbox check. You download valid, risky and invalid files with your original GetResponse columns kept, ready to import back.

1. Export the CSV from GetResponse

  1. In GetResponse, go to Contacts > Search and click Advanced search.
  2. Pick the list or lists from the list drop-down and click Apply.
  3. Click the Actions icon (three dots) next to the contact count, then Export.
  4. Name the file, choose csv, keep Email address selected, and click Export new file.
  5. Click Download when the file appears.

Only active contacts are exported, and export files are removed after 7 days.

2. Upload it to SimpleVerifier

Sign in, upload the CSV as it came out of GetResponse and every address gets a live mailbox check with catch-all detection. The email column is found automatically.

3. Import the clean file back

You get three files: valid, risky and invalid, each with every column from the original export. Import the valid file back into GetResponse or your sending tool, and keep risky addresses (usually catch-all domains) out of cold sends.

Common questions

How do I export my contacts from GetResponse?
In GetResponse, go to Contacts > Search and click Advanced search. Pick the list or lists from the list drop-down and click Apply. Click the Actions icon (three dots) next to the contact count, then Export. Name the file, choose csv, keep Email address selected, and click Export new file. Click Download when the file appears. Only active contacts are exported, and export files are removed after 7 days.
Do I need to change the GetResponse CSV before uploading it?
No. The email column is found by its header or its contents, so the GetResponse export works as it is. Every other column is kept, and the cleaned files come back with your original columns so you can import them straight back into GetResponse.
Why verify a list that came from GetResponse?
Subscribers who signed up years ago move jobs, abandon inboxes or typed their address wrong. Every send to a dead address in GetResponse is a bounce on your sender reputation, and many ESPs bill by contact count, so removing dead addresses also lowers the bill.
How much does it cost?
Verification is $29.99 a month with no limit on verifications, for files up to 100,000 rows. See the pricing page for the plans.
