A valid phone result means the number fits its country's numbering plan, plus the carrier's line type when looked up. No lookup confirms who is using the number today.

- Can I check whether a lead's number is a cell phone?
- Yes, with a live carrier lookup on Email + Phone. In the US and Canada the numbering plan alone cannot separate mobile from landline numbers, so a format check returns fixed line or mobile until a lookup is run.
- Does a valid phone result mean the number is in service?
- No. It means the number fits the numbering plan and, with a lookup, which carrier and line type it is assigned to. No check confirms who is using it today.
- Should I delete past clients whose email fails?
- No. Keep the client record and switch channels. A failed email is a reason to call, text or mail the property, not to lose the relationship.
