Zoho CRM contacts to email list: without Email Opt Out contacts
In short: Reads a Zoho CRM Contacts or Leads CSV (Setup > Data Administration > Export): Email Opt Out true, Unsubscribed Mode or Unsubscribed Time set aside, never read as consent when blank or false; Secondary Email optional; repeats merged. Limit: Field labels can be renamed in Zoho; Email Opt Out, Secondary Email and Unsubscribed Mode are found by their default labels from an inferred list, so check the notes above the result.
Export Contacts (or Leads) from Zoho CRM's Data Administration with Email, Secondary Email and Email Opt Out, and upload the CSV here. Contacts with Email Opt Out true, or an Unsubscribed Mode or Time, are always set aside; false or blank is not read as consent. Check what's left live before you send.
Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. See pricing

How do I check the send list before the next campaign?
- Download the send list here.
- Upload it at /verify. Every address gets a live mailbox check, and valid, risky and invalid download as separate files; catch-all domains are marked. The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card.
- Send to the valid file, and keep the set-aside file as a suppression list.
How do I turn a Zoho CRM export into a clean email list?
- In Zoho CRM, go to Setup > Data Administration > Export, choose Contacts (or Leads), and pick the view and fields: Email, Secondary Email, Email Opt Out, and Unsubscribed Mode if you have it.
- Download the export; it comes as a zip with the CSV inside, and the link lasts seven days.
- Upload the CSV here, or paste it. Tick the option to read Secondary Email too.
- Download the send list and the set-aside file. Check the send list live before the campaign.
Example
- You enter
- A Zoho CRM Contacts export with 6 rows:
Email Opt Outtrue on Leo, anUnsubscribed Modeof Unsubscribe link on Mia (Email Opt Out still false), aSecondary Emailon Ana, asales@address and one phone-only contact. - You get
- 3 contacts to send (
sales@flagged as a role address), Leo and Mia set aside as opted out, and 1 contact counted as having no email. Ticking the secondary option adds Ana's Gmail as a row. - Limits
- Runs in your browser with no row cap; an uploaded file can be up to 25 MB.
Which Zoho fields count as an opt-out?
Email Opt Out set to true, and any value in Unsubscribed Mode (such as Manual or Unsubscribe link) or Unsubscribed Time. Each is read only as an opt-out: false or blank leaves the contact as unknown, never subscribed.
Contacts and Leads are separate modules in Zoho. Export both and paste them together; the same address merges and an opt-out on either copy wins.
Does a clean Zoho export mean the addresses work?
No. Zoho only marks what it learned from mail it sent. Leads imported from events or lists, and contacts nobody has emailed in months, may have closed. A live mailbox check shows which still exist.
Who uses this tool, and for what?
- Marketing teams
- Pull a send list for a tool outside Zoho with the opt-outs honoured.
- Sales teams
- Clean leads before a sequence: no opted-out or role addresses.
- Admins
- Merge Contacts and Leads exports into one list before a migration.
What can’t this tool tell you?
- Field labels can be renamed in Zoho; Email Opt Out, Secondary Email and Unsubscribed Mode are found by their default labels from an inferred list, so check the notes above the result.
- GDPR or HIPAA settings in your Zoho org can change what the export contains.
- It can't tell which addresses have a working inbox today; that needs a live mailbox check.
Common questions
- Which Zoho CRM columns does it read?
- Email, Secondary Email if you tick the option, Email Opt Out, Unsubscribed Mode, Unsubscribed Time, Account Name and Tag. The notes above the result say which were found.
- The export is a zip. What do I upload?
- Unzip it and upload the CSV inside.
- Is my contact list uploaded?
- No. The file is read in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you choose to check the addresses afterwards.

A tidy list can still be full of dead addresses.
Extracting, deduplicating and syntax checks all work on the text of an address. None of them can tell whether the mailbox exists. Only the server that hosts it can answer that, through an SMTP check, and that is what the paid product does.
- Upload the cleaned file as it is: CSVs up to 100,000 rows
- A real SMTP mailbox check on every row, with catch-all detection
