Cleaning a HubSpot list of 100,000 on SimpleVerifier costs $39 (one month of Pro), about $0.39 per 1,000, and takes about 8 days at today's shared pace. Export it as a CSV, upload it, and download the valid, risky and invalid files with your original columns kept.

- Click Export in the top right of the table.
- Choose CSV as the file format, name the export and click Export.

What verification does to this list
- Every address comes back valid, risky or invalid, so the campaign goes to a list you have checked rather than one that has sat in the CRM since the contact was created.
- Contacts whose mailbox no longer exists come back invalid. Set them aside or mark them in HubSpot before the send rather than finding them as bounces after it.
- Unsubscribed contacts are in the export unless you filter them out first. Verification does not know who opted out, so filter before you export.
- The cleaned files keep every column from the export, so if you export the record ID with it, they import back onto the same contacts.
HubSpot: Filter out unsubscribed contacts before you export. Verification does not know who opted out. HubSpot says a marketing account may be suspended above a 5% hard bounce rate in a month, a 0.1% spam report rate or a 3% unsubscribe rate.

How long 100,000 emails take
- We run about 13,000 mailbox checks a day today, shared by all customers. At today's shared pace, 100,000 checks in one list take about 8 days to finish. The list queues and its card shows the ETA; nothing is cut off.
- Check capacity is shared by all customers: list jobs run at up to about 60 addresses a minute while the day's capacity lasts, so a very large list queues rather than failing and can take days.
- Bad syntax, dead domains and disposable addresses come back at once, and results confirmed in the last 14 days return instantly, so a list you checked recently finishes sooner. Each job card shows an estimated finish time.
What you get back
- Valid
- The recipient's mail server confirmed the mailbox exists.
- Risky
- The domain works but the mailbox could not be confirmed, usually a catch-all domain that accepts every address. Anything unconfirmed is reported as risky, never as valid.
- Invalid
- The server confirmed the mailbox does not exist, or the syntax is broken, the domain has no mail server, or the domain is a known disposable provider.
Results download as separate files for valid, risky and invalid. The email column is found by its header or its contents, every other column in your file is kept, and the cleaned files come back with your original columns, so they import straight back into your sending tool.
