Clean a ZoomInfo or Lusha export of 10,000 contacts
Cleaning a ZoomInfo or Lusha export of 10,000 on SimpleVerifier costs $15 (one-time pack of 10,000 checks that never expire), about $1.50 per 1,000, and takes about a day or less at today's shared pace. What verification does to this list
- Each address gets an SMTP mailbox check when you upload it, whatever status the data provider showed when you exported it.
- Contacts who have left the company come back invalid when the company's mail server says the mailbox no longer exists.
- Catch-all company domains come back risky, never valid, so they do not slip into the first sends as if they were confirmed.
- Exports from both tools can be merged into one file with the free CSV merge tool. The email column is found by its header or its contents, and duplicates are not charged.
ZoomInfo: ZoomInfo is a data source. We found no bounce percentage in ZoomInfo's own help for its Engage email product, so plan against the sender's rule and the 2% line.
Lusha: Lusha only exports contacts you have revealed. Verify after the reveal, so you do not pay for checks on contacts you cannot export. Lusha does not send your campaigns, so it has no bounce rule of its own. The rule that matters is the one on the tool that sends the mail you build from this list, such as your email platform or sequencer. As a safe plan, aim for hard bounces under 2%, the lowest enforcement line any platform we read publishes (Brevo).

How long 10,000 emails take
- We run about 13,000 mailbox checks a day today, shared by all customers. At today's shared pace of about 13,000 mailbox checks a day, 10,000 checks fit inside one day's capacity.
- Check capacity is shared by all customers: list jobs run at up to about 60 addresses a minute while the day's capacity lasts, so a very large list queues rather than failing and can take days.
- Bad syntax, dead domains and disposable addresses come back at once, and results confirmed in the last 14 days return instantly, so a list you checked recently finishes sooner. Each job card shows an estimated finish time.
What you get back
- Valid
- The recipient's mail server confirmed the mailbox exists.
- Risky
- The domain works but the mailbox could not be confirmed, usually a catch-all domain that accepts every address. Anything unconfirmed is reported as risky, never as valid.
- Invalid
- The server confirmed the mailbox does not exist, or the syntax is broken, the domain has no mail server, or the domain is a known disposable provider.
Results download as separate files for valid, risky and invalid. The email column is found by its header or its contents, every other column in your file is kept, and the cleaned files come back with your original columns, so they import straight back into your sending tool.

- $15 on SimpleVerifier (one-time pack of 10,000 checks that never expire), about $1.50 per 1,000. Duplicates and addresses we cannot check are not counted, so the real number is usually lower than the row count.
- How long does a list of 10,000 take?
- About a day or less at today's shared pace of about 13,000 mailbox checks a day, shared by all customers. The job card shows an estimated finish time.
- Can I upload all 10,000 in one file?
- Yes. Uploads take up to 100,000 rows in one CSV, and the email column is found automatically.
- Does verification tell me who agreed to be emailed?
- Verification tells you whether a mailbox can receive mail. It does not tell you whether the person agreed to hear from you, so check consent before you mail anyone, whatever the result.
- Can I try it before paying?
- Yes: the first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in and no card, on the same SMTP mailbox check the paid plans run. Upload a sample of the export first, then pick the plan or pack that fits.
