ZoomInfo export to email list: duplicates merged, risky leads flagged
In short: Reads a ZoomInfo contacts CSV, keeps the main email and (if asked) supplemental emails, merges repeats, carries the Contact Accuracy Score through, flags role addresses, personal webmail, likely typos and emails on a domain other than the company website. Limit: ZoomInfo doesn't publish its export column names; columns such as Email Address, Supplemental Email and Contact Accuracy Score are found by name from an inferred list, so check the notes above the result.
Export the contacts from ZoomInfo as CSV and upload it here. The tool merges repeated addresses, keeps ZoomInfo's accuracy score next to each lead, sets aside role addresses like info@, and flags personal webmail and emails on a different domain from the company website. Then check the clean file live before the first send.
Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. See pricing

How do I check the ZoomInfo leads before the sequence starts?
- Download the clean list here.
- Upload it at /verify. Every address gets a live mailbox check, and valid, risky and invalid download as separate files; catch-all domains are marked. The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card.
- Load only the valid file into your sequencer. Keep risky and catch-all leads in a separate, slower campaign or drop them.
How do I clean a ZoomInfo export before cold emailing it?
- In ZoomInfo, run a contact search or open a saved list, select the contacts and click Export > CSV (exports can use credits).
- Upload the CSV here, or paste it. The email, name, company, website and status columns are found by name.
- Choose what to set aside: ZoomInfo's invalid addresses and role addresses (on to start), accept-all and unverified addresses, personal webmail.
- Download the clean list and the set-aside file, each with a flags column (role, webmail, possible typo, domain differs from the company website).
Example
- You enter
- A ZoomInfo export with 6 rows: Ana twice (once in capitals, once with a Gmail
Supplemental Email), aninfo@address, a lead onnorthwind-group.examplewhile the website isnorthwind.example, and Contact Accuracy Scores from 74 to 95. - You get
- 4 leads in the list with their scores kept, Ana merged, the Northwind lead flagged as on a different domain, and
info@set aside as a role address. Ticking the other-email option adds Ana's Gmail as a flagged personal row. - Limits
- Runs in your browser with no row cap; an uploaded file can be up to 25 MB.
Isn't ZoomInfo's accuracy score enough?
The Contact Accuracy Score is ZoomInfo's confidence in the record as a whole, from when it was last researched. It isn't a check of the mailbox today, and people change jobs between updates. The score is kept in the vendor_status column so you can sort by it, but it isn't turned into a pass or fail here.
A live mailbox check asks each domain's mail server about the address now, and marks domains that accept every address, which a database record can't show.
Why flag an email on a different domain?
When the email's domain doesn't match the company website in the same row, the address is often at a parent company, an old domain after a rebrand, or a pattern guess. Those are worth checking first. Personal webmail is flagged separately, and is the first thing to drop from a B2B list.
Who uses this tool, and for what?
- SDR teams
- Strip role addresses and repeats from a ZoomInfo pull before it goes into Outreach, Salesloft or Apollo sequences.
- Cold email agencies
- Clean a client's ZoomInfo export and send only the live-checked part to Instantly or Smartlead.
- RevOps
- Flag domain mismatches before an import creates duplicate or wrong-company records in the CRM.
What can’t this tool tell you?
- ZoomInfo doesn't publish its export column names; columns such as Email Address, Supplemental Email and Contact Accuracy Score are found by name from an inferred list, so check the notes above the result.
- It can't tell which addresses have a working inbox today, or which domains accept every address; that needs a live mailbox check.
- A lead database list is cold: nobody on it asked to hear from you. The tool doesn't make it compliant; follow the rules where your recipients are.
Common questions
- What happens to the supplemental email?
- It's left out unless you tick the option to read other email columns; then each extra address becomes its own row, and the source_column says where it came from.
- Can it tell which domains are catch-all?
- Not from the file alone. It reads the vendor's own accept-all or catch-all label where the export has one. Whether a domain accepts every address only shows up in a live check, which /verify runs and marks.
- Is my lead list uploaded?
- No. The file is read in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you choose to check the addresses afterwards.

A tidy list can still be full of dead addresses.
Extracting, deduplicating and syntax checks all work on the text of an address. None of them can tell whether the mailbox exists. Only the server that hosts it can answer that, through an SMTP check, and that is what the paid product does.
- Upload the cleaned file as it is: CSVs up to 100,000 rows
- A real SMTP mailbox check on every row, with catch-all detection
