Kickbox vs Bouncer
Both sell pay-as-you-go credit packs at similar prices (5,000 addresses cost $40 at Kickbox and $35 at Bouncer as of October 2026), and both are credible verifiers, so price is not the deciding factor. Kickbox is the better choice if you want deliverability consulting and sending-reputation help alongside verification. Bouncer is better if you need EU data residency or its toxicity scoring.

Cost for one pass over a list
Each vendor’s cheapest available route. An empty cell means that vendor does not publish an allowance we can calculate from, not that it is free.

When two vendors cost the same, compare what they refuse to guess
At identical prices, the useful comparison is how each handles uncertainty. A catch-all domain accepts every address, so no verifier can confirm a mailbox there. What separates tools is whether they say so, or quietly report those addresses as valid to keep an accuracy statistic high.
Test both the same way before committing: invent an address at a real domain and verify it, then check a known catch-all domain. The first should come back invalid. The second should come back as accept-all or risky, not valid. A vendor with no risky category has hidden its uncertainty inside its valid results, and you will meet it again as bounces.
Both bill per email through credit packs, so a large clean is a variable cost: 100,000 addresses is $500 at Kickbox and $400 at Bouncer. Bouncer's credits never expire; Kickbox's pricing page does not say. Either way, a re-check costs full price again. Neither is a flaw exactly — they are just different ways of making volume cost money.
Choose Kickbox if
you want a vendor that will advise on sending reputation, not just return a CSV — Kickbox's deliverability practice is the real product.
Choose Bouncer if
you are bound by EU data residency requirements, or you want toxicity and risk scoring on top of a deliverability verdict.
Disclosure — our product
Where SimpleVerifier fits, and where it does not
We publish this comparison and we sell a third option, so treat the rest of this section as the pitch it is. SimpleVerifier is $29.99 a month flat, with no metering on verification, the email finder or enrichment.
That is worth it in exactly two cases: large lists, because volume does not change the price, and lists you verify repeatedly, because a confirmed result is cached for 14 days so the second pass costs nothing. Outside those two cases, a metered vendor is usually cheaper and you should use one — Kickbox and Bouncer included.
