Email Verification Pricing Index, October 2026: 19 Vendors

··7 min read

Verifying 10,000 email addresses costs between $11.90 and $129 at published prices, depending on the vendor; verifying 1 million costs between $349 and $3,199. We read the pricing pages of 19 email verification vendors on 1 and 2 October 2026 and recorded what each charges at three volumes. At 1 million, the most expensive list price is more than nine times the cheapest.

This index is neutral. It ranks on published price only, not on accuracy, which we did not test.

Method

Every price below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 1 or 2 October 2026. Where a page builds its prices with JavaScript, we read the rendered page in a browser. Where prices sit in the page source (as JSON, for example), we read them there. We recorded:

  • the one-off (pay-as-you-go) price for 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 credits; and
  • the monthly subscription price at the same volumes, where one is published.

All prices are in US dollars as displayed. Captain Verify displays prices excluding tax; DeBounce states its prices include taxes and fees. Where a vendor offers a time-limited discount, we used the price it displays today and say so. One credit is one verification unless noted.

Twenty vendors were checked. TheChecker now redirects to Emailable, so 19 have their own prices. The raw figures, with each pricing URL, are saved alongside our research files.

The index: one-off prices

One-off packs are the fairest comparison, because they are what you pay for a single clean. Sorted by the 1 million price.

Vendor 10,000 100,000 1,000,000 Per 1,000 at 1M
MyEmailVerifier ¹ $15 $99 $349 $0.35
Proofy $18 $89 $429 $0.43
MillionVerifier $39 $149 $449 $0.45
Bouncify $24 $119 $599 $0.60
EmailListVerify ² $27.99 $199 $699 $0.70
DeBounce $25 $135 $750 $0.75
Captain Verify ³ $71 $236 $767 $0.77
Reoon $11.90 $116.40 $960 $0.96
QuickEmailVerification $60 $320 $1,350 $1.35
Clearout $65 $400 $1,400 $1.40
Verifalia $49.90 $389 $1,490 $1.49
Bouncer $60 $400 $2,000 $2.00
Emailable $60 $420 $2,100 $2.10
NeverBounce $50 $400 $2,500 $2.50
Hunter ⁴ $110 $740 $2,800 $2.80
Kickbox ⁵ $70 $500 $2,999 $3.00
ZeroBounce $129 $649 $3,199 $3.20
Mailgun ⁶ $115 $685 not published
Snov.io ⁷ subscription only

Notes:

  1. MyEmailVerifier's packs include bonus credits (10,500, 105,000 and 1,050,000) and are shown as reduced prices next to struck-through ones ($42, $264 and $1,065). A banner on the page calls the 1 million offer limited-time.
  2. EmailListVerify's 1 million tier shows a "Request a Demo" button rather than a buy button.
  3. Captain Verify's prices are shown excluding tax.
  4. Hunter's figures are from its Data Platform calculator with verification credits only.
  5. Kickbox's page carried a banner offering 30% off verification credits until 1 December with a code. The table shows list prices.
  6. Mailgun prices validations as tiered overage on top of a sending plan. Our figure is the Basic plan ($15) plus the published tiers ($1.20 per 100 for the first 5,000, $0.80 per 100 for the next 45,000, $0.50 per 100 for the next 50,000). The tiers end at 500,000, so 1 million is not published.
  7. Snov.io sells verification only within its subscription plans. See below.

Per 1,000 at each volume

Volume Cheapest Median of 17 Most expensive
10,000 $1.19 (Reoon) $5.00 $12.90 (ZeroBounce)
100,000 $0.89 (Proofy) $3.20 $7.40 (Hunter)
1,000,000 $0.35 (MyEmailVerifier) $1.35 $3.20 (ZeroBounce)

The median uses the 17 vendors with one-off prices at all three volumes. The order is not stable across volumes. Reoon is the cheapest at 10,000 but eighth at 1 million. MillionVerifier is mid-table at 10,000 and third at 1 million. Pick the row that matches your actual volume.

Subscription prices

Subscriptions are usually cheaper per month than the same one-off volume, often by 10 to 20%, but they bill every month. Per month, at the same credit volume:

Vendor 10,000/mo 100,000/mo 1,000,000/mo
MyEmailVerifier $12 $89 $299
Proofy $15.30 $75.65 $364.65
Bouncify $19 $99 $479
EmailListVerify $25 $168 $594
DeBounce $23 $124.20 $690
Captain Verify (excl. tax) $63.90 $212.40 $690.30
Clearout (monthly billing) $58 $360 $1,260
Clearout (annual billing, per month) $32 $112 $800
NeverBounce Growth $49 $159 $999
Emailable $51 $357 $1,785
ZeroBounce (monthly billing) $99 $449 $2,499
ZeroBounce (annual billing, per month) $79 $359 $1,999
Snov.io (monthly) $189 (20,000 credits) $738 not published

Two things to watch:

  • Default billing toggles differ. Clearout's page opens on annual billing and Hunter's on yearly. ZeroBounce opens on monthly. An annual price shown per month is not the price of one month.
  • Snov.io credits are shared between its email finder and verifier, one credit per verification, and its page says unused credits expire every 30 days unless rolled over.

What else differs besides price

Credit expiry and refund terms change the real cost more than a few cents per 1,000 do.

How to use this index

Work out your annual volume first, then compare at that volume.

  1. One clean, never again: use the one-off column for your list size. The cheapest options cluster under $1 per 1,000 above 100,000.
  2. Recurring verification: multiply the monthly subscription by 12, compare against buying one-off packs as you need them, and check whether unused credits roll over.
  3. Real-time API on a form: volumes are small and steady, so a low subscription tier or a non-expiring pack works.

The verification cost calculator does this arithmetic for a given volume and frequency. For a fuller, criteria-based comparison, see the best email verification tools and the cheapest services per 1,000.

Limitations

  • List prices only. Many vendors negotiate above 1 million or on annual contracts. We recorded what the pages show.
  • Prices change. Several pages showed promotions or struck-through prices. This is a snapshot of 1 and 2 October 2026; check the linked page before buying.
  • No accuracy testing. A cheap verifier that marks unconfirmed addresses as valid costs more in bounces than it saves. Price is one input. See how to tell if your verifier is lying.
  • Bouncer's subscription prices could not be read reliably from its calculator and are left out.
  • Currency. Some sites choose the currency by location. We recorded US dollar prices.

Disclosure — our product

SimpleVerifier, which publishes this blog, is not in the index above because it does not sell credits: it is $29.99 a month with no monthly cap on verification, at a published throughput of 45 addresses per minute, with CSV uploads of up to 100,000 rows. That rate means 10,000 addresses take about 3.7 hours and 1 million take about 15 days. For a one-off 10,000-address clean, six vendors in the table above are cheaper. Full details are on the pricing page.

Common questions

How much does email verification cost per 1,000?

It depends heavily on volume and vendor. Buying 10,000 credits once, published prices in October 2026 ranged from $1.19 to $12.90 per 1,000. At 1 million, the range was $0.35 to $3.20 per 1,000. List prices fall sharply with volume at every vendor we checked.

What is the cheapest email verification service?

On published one-off prices in October 2026: Reoon at 10,000 credits ($11.90), Proofy at 100,000 ($89), and MyEmailVerifier at 1 million ($349 for 1,050,000 credits, shown as a reduced price next to a struck-through $1,065). Cheapest is not the same as best; we did not test accuracy for this index.

Do email verification credits expire?

Usually not for one-off packs, but there are exceptions. Most vendors we checked state that pay-as-you-go credits never expire. NeverBounce says its credits expire 12 months after purchase, Hunter's Data Platform credits can be used for up to 12 months, and subscription credits at Snov.io and Captain Verify do not roll over the same way.

Is a subscription cheaper than pay-as-you-go?

Per month, usually yes, often by 10 to 20% at the same volume and sometimes by much more. But a subscription charges you every month whether you verify or not, so it only wins if you verify that volume repeatedly. For a single clean, a one-off pack is almost always cheaper overall.
