Email verification cost calculator

Credit-based verification costs roughly $2 to $8 per 1,000 addresses, and charges again every time you re-verify. Enter your list size and how often you clean it to see the real annual cost, including against the plan you are on now. Flat pricing costs $29.99 a month whatever the answer.

Lists decay about 2% a month, so most people re-verify. On credit pricing the second pass costs the same as the first.

10,000 addresses is 2 months of a 5,000/month allowance, so the list costs 2× the monthly price — that is the mechanic credit pricing relies on.

Competitor costs assume the cheapest paid plan and the published allowance, prices checked September 2026. An empty row means that vendor does not publish an allowance on its pricing page, so no honest per-1,000 figure can be calculated — we would rather leave it blank than invent one.

The number that actually decides the bill

Everyone compares monthly prices. The monthly price is not what you pay. What you pay is the monthly price multiplied by how many months of allowance your list consumes — and a 50,000-address list on a 5,000-a-month plan is ten months of allowance, so a $49 plan is a $490 job.

Then it recurs. Lists decay about 2% a month, so the list you cleaned in January needs cleaning again by spring, and on credit pricing that second pass costs full price because the vendor’s model has no memory of the first.

This is not a criticism of credit pricing so much as a description of it. It is genuinely fine for a small, steady list. It gets expensive precisely when verification matters most: a large list, or a list you check often.

Common questions

How much does it cost to verify 10,000 emails?
On credit-based pricing, 10,000 addresses typically costs between $20 and $80 for a single pass, depending on the plan tier — and the same again the next time you verify the list. On SimpleVerifier's flat plan it costs $29.99, which is the whole month regardless of how many times you run it.
What is a good price per 1,000 email verifications?
Credit pricing usually lands between $2 and $8 per 1,000, improving as you buy larger bundles. That is the right benchmark for a one-off clean. It is the wrong benchmark for ongoing work, because a list re-verified monthly pays that rate twelve times a year while a flat plan pays once.
Why does re-verifying a list cost again?
On credit pricing, every address checked consumes a credit whether or not it was checked last month — the vendor's cost model has no memory. We cache confirmed results for 14 days, so an overlapping re-upload returns instantly, consumes nothing and opens no new SMTP connections.
How often should I re-verify my email list?
Email lists decay at roughly 2% a month as people change jobs and close accounts, so quarterly is a reasonable floor for a list you send to regularly, and immediately before any large campaign. That decay rate is exactly why per-address pricing gets expensive: the work is recurring even when the list is not growing.
