Webinar registrants to email list: attendees, no-shows and opt-ins sorted
In short: Reads a registrant or attendee report from GoTo Webinar, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Livestorm, WebinarJam or Demio (every table in the file), marks who attended and for how long, leaves out organizers and panelists, reads a marketing opt-in question and merges repeats. Limit: Webinar platforms don't publish fixed report headings; the column names here are inferred from each platform's reports and matched by name, so check the notes above the result.
Download the attendee or registration report from your webinar platform as CSV or Excel and upload it here. Every table in the report is read: attendees and no-shows are marked from the attended column, join time or duration, organizers and panelists are left out, a marketing opt-in answer of no is set aside, and you download one row per person for the replay and follow-up emails. Zoom reports have their own tool.
Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. See pricing

How do I check the registrant list before the follow-up?
- Download the email list here.
- Upload it at /verify. Every address gets a live mailbox check, and valid, risky and invalid download as separate files. The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card.
- Send the replay and follow-ups only to the valid file.
How do I turn a webinar report into an email list?
- Download the report: in GoTo Webinar, Reports > Attendee report (or Registration report); in Teams, the webinar's Attendance tab; in Livestorm, WebinarJam or Demio, the session's registrants or attendees export.
- Upload the CSV or .xlsx here, or paste it.
- Choose: leave out organizers and panelists (on to start), keep only attendees, and set aside a no to the opt-in question.
- Download the email list (no-shows are the replay list) and the set-aside file.
Example
- You enter
- A GoTo Webinar attendee report with summary lines, an Attendee Details table (3 attended, 2 did not, one answered no to the marketing opt-in) and a Panelist Details table.
- You get
- 4 in the email list: Ana (58 minutes) and Kim (62 minutes) attended, and 2 no-shows for the replay email. Set aside: the panelist and the attendee who answered no to the opt-in. Keep-only-attendees moves the 2 no-shows to the set-aside file.
- Limits
- Runs in your browser with no row cap; an uploaded file can be up to 25 MB.
How is attendance worked out?
An Attended column (yes or no, true or false) is read first. Without one, a join time or a time in session above zero counts as attended, and a table titled Absentees or No-shows marks everyone in it as not attended. Durations are read as minutes, "1 hour 2 minutes" or 00:45:12, and added up across rejoins.
Rows under a Panelist, Organizer or Host title, or with such a role in a Role column, are marked as staff and left out by default, so the follow-up doesn't go to your own team.
Can I add webinar registrants to my newsletter?
Registering for a webinar is agreement to hear about that webinar, not to every future email. If the registration form asked a marketing opt-in question, its column is read and a no is set aside. The FTC's CAN-SPAM guide and the UK's PECR rules differ on what's needed; check the rules where your registrants are.
Who uses this tool, and for what?
- B2B marketers
- Split attendees from no-shows for two different follow-ups the morning after.
- Coaches running live trainings
- Send the replay to registrants who opted in, without the panelists.
- Sales teams
- Hand attendees with time in session to reps, with company and job title.
What can’t this tool tell you?
- Webinar platforms don't publish fixed report headings; the column names here are inferred from each platform's reports and matched by name, so check the notes above the result.
- A report without an attended column, join time or duration reads as a registration report; attendance is then unknown.
- Zoom reports are read by the Zoom tool, which knows its sections.
- It can't tell which addresses still have a working inbox.
Common questions
- Which platforms does it read?
- Any report with an email column. Column names for GoTo Webinar (Attended, Time in Session, Interest Rating), Teams (In-Meeting Duration, Role), Livestorm, WebinarJam, Webex and Demio are recognised by name; Zoom reports have their own tool.
- How do I get only the no-shows?
- The attended column in the download says yes or no; filter on no for the replay list. Ticking "keep only attendees" puts the no-shows in the set-aside file instead.
- Is my report uploaded?
- No. It is read in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you choose to check the addresses afterwards.

A tidy list can still be full of dead addresses.
Extracting, deduplicating and syntax checks all work on the text of an address. None of them can tell whether the mailbox exists. Only the server that hosts it can answer that, through an SMTP check, and that is what the paid product does.
- Upload the cleaned file as it is: CSVs up to 100,000 rows
- A real SMTP mailbox check on every row, with catch-all detection
