Bulk Yahoo email checker: check a list of Yahoo addresses at once

In short: Checks many yahoo.com, ymail.com and rocketmail.com addresses at once: typo domains like yaho.com, duplicates and Yahoo disposable addresses that share one inbox flagged, with what Yahoo can't confirm said plainly. Limit: Yahoo's servers accepted made-up addresses in our checks, so passing Yahoo rows are risky, never valid.

A bulk Yahoo email checker tests many yahoo.com, ymail.com and rocketmail.com addresses at once. Paste the list here: bad syntax, typo domains like yaho.com, duplicates and Yahoo disposable addresses that share one nickname are flagged in your browser, and the first 10 go to a live check. Yahoo's servers accept made-up addresses, so passing Yahoo rows come back risky, not valid.

Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. See pricing

Runs in your browser. Only the domains are sent, to look up their mail servers; addresses stay on your device.

How do I check a list of Yahoo addresses?

  1. Paste the addresses, one per line, or a CSV column of them. AOL and AT&T addresses count too, because Yahoo runs their mail; other providers are checked as normal addresses and marked.
  2. Press Check the Yahoo addresses.
  3. Read the flagged rows: bad syntax, a typo domain, a duplicate, or a disposable address with the same nickname as an earlier row.
  4. Download the clean list. Flagged notes stay on it; only rows that fail a check come off.
  5. The first 10 go to a live check. Sign in with Google to run the rest with 100 free email checks.

Example

You enter
7 addresses: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], a yahoo.co.uk, a rocketmail.com and a company address.
You get
[email protected] is flagged as a likely typo of yahoo.com; the two janedoe- rows are marked as Yahoo disposable addresses, the second as the same nickname as the first, and both are kept. The live check returns the Yahoo rows as risky, because Yahoo accepted made-up addresses in our checks.
Limits
The browser pass covers the first 5,000 rows; only domains leave your device. 10 live checks a day without an account, then the free checks with a Google sign-in.

Can you check if Yahoo addresses exist in bulk?

Not mailbox by mailbox. Yahoo's own SMTP error codes page gives its "recipient does not exist" error as a 554, which RFC 5321 lists among replies to the message itself, after the point where a verifier stops. In our checks Yahoo's servers accepted made-up addresses, so a well-formed Yahoo address comes back risky with "Accepts all addresses".

What a bulk check can settle is everything else: syntax, typo domains such as yaho.com or yahooo.com, duplicates, and whether the domain receives mail. For one address with full notes, use the Yahoo email checker.

What is a Yahoo disposable address?

Yahoo lets some accounts create extra addresses in two parts, a nickname and a keyword, as in [email protected]. Yahoo says "any messages sent to your disposable address will come to your main account's inbox" (Yahoo Help), and the nickname can't be changed once set.

So [email protected] and [email protected] are likely one person. The tool flags hyphenated Yahoo addresses with that shape, and marks a later row with the same nickname. Both stay on the clean list: a hyphen is a hint, not proof.

Why do old Yahoo lists bounce?

Yahoo says a mailbox not accessed for 12 months becomes inactive and stops receiving new mail (Yahoo Help), and its sender best practices ask senders to remove invalid recipients promptly. An old Yahoo-heavy list is better sent in small batches, suppressing every 554 bounce for good.

What can’t this tool tell you?

  • Yahoo's servers accepted made-up addresses in our checks, so passing Yahoo rows are risky, never valid.
  • A hyphen in a Yahoo address is a hint of a disposable address, not proof; flagged rows are kept.
  • Valid syntax and a working domain say nothing about whether the owner still reads the inbox.
  • The browser pass covers the first 5,000 rows; the free checks on your dashboard take the whole file.

Common questions

Is there a free bulk Yahoo email checker?
Yes. This page checks a whole Yahoo list for syntax, typo domains, duplicates, disposable nicknames and dead domains for free, runs 10 live checks with no account, and gives 100 free email checks with a Google sign-in.
Why does every Yahoo address come back risky?
Because Yahoo's servers accepted made-up addresses in our checks, so accepting yours proves nothing. Risky means Yahoo didn't say, not that the address is bad; let where it came from decide.
Will the Yahoo users know I checked their address?
No. Nothing is delivered, so nothing appears in their inbox.
Does this check AOL and AT&T addresses too?
Yes. Yahoo runs AOL and AT&T mail, so those rows count as Yahoo here. The bulk AOL email checker and the AT&T email checker have notes for those domains.

A tidy list can still be full of dead addresses.

Extracting, deduplicating and syntax checks all work on the text of an address. None of them can tell whether the mailbox exists. Only the server that hosts it can answer that, through an SMTP check, and that is what the paid product does.

  • Upload the cleaned file as it is: CSVs up to 100,000 rows
  • A real SMTP mailbox check on every row, with catch-all detection
