How to verify an email list cheaply
Make the list smaller before you pay, then buy in the shape that matches how often you check it: a one-time pack for a single pass, a monthly plan for a list you re-check. Remove duplicates, broken syntax and disposable domains with free tools, use the first 100 free checks, then pay only for the rest. For one list of 10,000, the lowest published price we found is Reoon at $11.90 (read 30 Oct 2026); SimpleVerifier costs $15 (a one-time pack of 10,000 email checks that never expires).
Most of the saving comes before the verifier: every duplicate or obviously dead address you remove is a credit you don't buy. On SimpleVerifier, duplicates inside a file and addresses we can't check are not counted, and results confirmed in the last 14 days come back from cache without a second mailbox check.
For one list of 2,500, SimpleVerifier costs $9 (one month of Starter, 2,500 emails a month); the lowest price we found elsewhere is EmailValidation.io at $9.99 (read 12 Oct 2026). For one list of 100,000, SimpleVerifier costs $39 (one month of Pro); the lowest price we found elsewhere is EmailValidation.io at $94.99 (read 12 Oct 2026). The table below has every vendor we price, including the ones that cost less than we do.

Each vendor's lowest published route for one list of that size, read from its own pricing page. Ours is the cheaper of one month of the smallest plan that covers it and a one-time pack, where packs are sold. Where a vendor is below our figure, it costs less for that job. Vendor prices read 12 Oct 2026 to 30 Oct 2026. Each vendor links to its comparison page, which records the date its prices were read. Check their site for current pricing before you buy.
SimpleVerifier facts: prices, packs and limits
| What it is | Email verification with a real SMTP mailbox check: each address comes back valid, risky or invalid with a reason. Includes an email finder on Pro and up. |
|---|---|
| Price per check | Starter $9/mo for 2,500 ($3.60 per 1,000); Growth $19/mo for 10,000 ($1.90 per 1,000); Pro $39/mo, 100,000 a month at full speed ($0.39 per 1,000 when used), then slower, never cut off. Business $99/mo with 300,000 at full speed; Agency $249/mo with 750,000 at full speed. |
| One-time packs | 10,000 for $15 ($1.50 per 1,000); 25,000 for $29 ($1.16 per 1,000); 50,000 for $49 ($0.98 per 1,000); 100,000 for $79 ($0.79 per 1,000); 250,000 for $169 ($0.68 per 1,000). Credits never expire, run at standard speed, CSV verification only (no API or finder). |
| Free checks | First 100 email checks free with a Google sign-in, no card, once per account. Single checks on the free email checker need no account. |
| Billing | Monthly subscription, cancel anytime (yearly billing optional). One-time packs are listed above. Starter and Growth allowances reset monthly and do not roll over. |
| Speed today | One sending IP today, shared by every customer: about 13,000 mailbox checks a day in the standard lane. Bad syntax, dead domains and disposable addresses return at once; a list of 100,000 takes days, not hours, and each job shows its estimated finish time. |
| Catch-all handling | Catch-all (accept-all) addresses stay risky, never valid, and are graded higher, medium or lower likelihood with the reasons. Anything a mail server does not confirm is risky. |
| API and MCP | REST API on Pro, Business and Agency (Pro includes 10,000 calls a month, then $1.50 per 1,000). Remote MCP server with 6 tools for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. No API on Starter or Growth. |
| Integrations | Connects to Instantly, Smartlead, HubSpot and Mailchimp by API key: verifies a campaign or list and tags each contact with its result. CSV in and out for any other tool. |
| Phone | Free phone format checks (country, type range). Live carrier and line-type lookups are a $20/mo add-on (5,000 a month). It never says a number is in service. |
| What it does not do | No sending, warmup or inbox placement tests. No published accuracy benchmark against other verifiers. Catch-all domains, Yahoo and AOL cannot be confirmed, and Outlook.com and Hotmail mailboxes are not probed while Microsoft refuses checks from our server's network: all of these come back risky, never valid. |

Test it on a real address first
Type any address. It gets the same check the paid plans run: syntax, the domain’s mail servers and, where the provider allows it, a live mailbox check. Nothing is sent to the address.
Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.
Have a list? Sign in with Google and the first 100 addresses are checked free, with results to download. No card.
By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Step 1: cut the list for free
Remove duplicate emails and run the bulk syntax checker and the bulk disposable email checker; none needs an account. Then drop role addresses (info@, sales@) if your campaign is to people, and anything older than your last bounce report says is safe.
Step 2: buy for how often you check
One list, once: a one-time pack (10,000 checks for $15, 25,000 checks for $29, 50,000 checks for $49, 100,000 checks for $79, 250,000 checks for $169) never expires, or one month of Starter ($9 for 2,500 emails a month) or Growth ($19 for 10,000 emails a month), cancelled when the job is done.
The same list every month, or more than 10,000 addresses: Pro is $39 a month, never cut off: the first 100,000 emails a month run at full speed, then big lists run slower. Business ($99) runs 300,000 a month at full speed and Agency ($249) 750,000.
What cheap verification cannot do
Mailbox checks are paced, because mail servers slow down or block verifiers that probe too fast, and the daily check capacity is shared between customers. Addresses that need no mailbox check, such as broken syntax, dead domains and disposable addresses, come back at once. The rest run in a queue, and the job card shows an estimated finish time. SimpleVerifier sends its mailbox checks from one IP today, so a list of 100,000 takes days rather than hours.
Catch-all domains, Yahoo and AOL accept every address during the check, and Microsoft currently refuses checks from our server's network, so those addresses come back risky, never valid. No price buys certainty on them; send to them in small test batches.
When another route is cheaper
- A vendor in the table costs less at your list size. The table is sorted by price and shows them as plainly as the ones that cost more.
- You need a big list back within the hour. Our checks are paced and the queue is shared, so a large list takes days.
- Your list is mostly Outlook.com or Hotmail addresses: we can't confirm those right now, so you would pay for many risky results.
Common questions
- What is the cheapest way to verify an email list?
- Remove duplicates, broken syntax and disposable domains free, use the first 100 free checks, then pay for the rest in the shape that fits: a one-time pack for one pass, a monthly plan for repeated checks. For one list of 10,000, the lowest published price we found is Reoon at $11.90 (read 30 Oct 2026); SimpleVerifier costs $15 (a one-time pack of 10,000 email checks that never expires).
- Can I verify an email list for free?
- Partly. The first 100 checks are free with a Google sign-in and no card, once per account, and single addresses on the free email checker need no account (five a minute). A whole large list needs a paid plan or pack.
- Do duplicates or failed checks cost credits?
- No. One unique address counts once per file, and addresses we can't check are not counted.
- Is a cheaper verifier less accurate?
- Price says nothing about accuracy, and we publish no accuracy figure because we have no independent measurement. Test any verifier with an invented address at a real company domain: a real mailbox check returns invalid or risky.
Clean your first list for less
Pro is $39 a month and never cuts you off: the first 100,000 emails a month run at full speed, then big lists run slower. CSV uploads, the API (10,000 calls a month, then $1.50 per 1,000), the Google Sheets add-on and the email finder are included, and you can cancel any time. For smaller volumes, Starter is $9 a month for 2,500 emails a month and Growth $19 a month for 10,000 emails a month.
The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card, on the same engine the paid plans use.
