Free email verifier with no signup

You can verify an email address on SimpleVerifier with no signup, no card and no email address of your own: the free checker runs a syntax check, an MX lookup and a live mailbox check, five addresses a minute. The free list health check reads a CSV of up to 5,000 rows in your browser, also without an account. Checking every mailbox in a list needs a Google sign-in, which gives 100 free checks.

or test one address on this page

"No signup" usually means one of two things: a single-address checker anyone can use, or a free allowance that starts the moment you create an account. The first is genuinely free and anonymous; the second is a trial. This page says which of our checks are which, so nothing asks for an account you did not expect to make.

The anonymous checks run on the same engine as the paid plans. A catch-all address is never called valid, on the free tool or anywhere else: it comes back risky, with the reason, because a server that accepts every address cannot confirm any one of them.

Each vendor's lowest published route for one list of that size, read from its own pricing page. Ours is one month of the smallest plan that covers it. Most vendors ask you to create an account before their free credits apply. Each vendor links to its comparison page, which records the date its prices were read. Check their site for current pricing before you buy.

Test it on a real address first

Type any address. It gets the same check the paid plans run: syntax, the domain’s mail servers and, where the provider allows it, a live mailbox check. Nothing is sent to the address.

Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.

Have a list? Sign in with Google and the first 100 addresses are checked free, with results to download. No card.

What you can check without an account

One address at a time. The free email verifier takes one address and returns valid, risky or invalid with the reason: syntax, the domain's mail server, disposable and role detection, catch-all detection and, where the provider allows it, an SMTP conversation that asks whether the mailbox exists. No email is sent. The limit is five checks a minute per visitor, which keeps the tool open to everyone.

A whole CSV, structurally. The email list health check reads up to 5,000 rows in your browser and reports duplicates, broken syntax, typo domains such as gmial.com, dead domains, disposable and role addresses. The file is not uploaded for mailbox checks, so it cannot tell you whether a well-formed address at a working domain still exists. That is the part that needs a server-side check.

Domains and catch-alls. The catch-all checker and the domain health checker answer domain-level questions with no account.

What needs a sign-in, and why

Checking every mailbox in a list means many SMTP conversations, and mail servers slow down or block a sender that probes too fast. An account lets us pace your list, keep the results for you to download, and stop one anonymous visitor using up capacity every customer shares. Sign in with Google and the first 100 addresses get the full mailbox check, no card.

List jobs average about 30 rows a minute over a day and reach about 60 at peak, shared between customers. Broken syntax, dead domains and disposable addresses come back at once; the rest queue, and the job card shows an estimated finish time.

After the free checks, Starter is $9 a month for 2,500 emails a month, Growth $19 for 10,000 emails a month, and Pro $29.99 a month, never cut off: the first 100,000 emails a month run at full speed, then big lists run slower. Fees are non-refundable once charged, so run the free checks on a sample of your own list first.

How to tell whether a free checker really checks mailboxes

Invent an address at a provider that rejects unknown recipients, such as a long random name at gmail.com, and run it. A checker that talks to the mail server returns invalid. One that only checks syntax and MX records returns valid, and it will call most of a stale list valid too.

Then try an address at a domain you know is catch-all. An honest checker returns risky or unknown, not valid.

When another free option suits you better

  • You want a recurring free allowance rather than a one-time one. Reoon's page lists 20 free verifications a day and ZeroBounce lists 100 a month on its free plan; our list allowance is a one-time 100 checks.
  • You need more than 100 full mailbox checks free in one go. Emailable lists 250 free credits for a new account.
  • Your list is a few hundred addresses and you only need it once: pasting them into the free checker a minute at a time works, but a vendor's signup credits will be faster.

Common questions

Can I verify an email address without signing up?
Yes. The free email verifier checks one address at a time with no account, no card and no email address of your own, up to five checks a minute. It runs a live mailbox check where the provider allows it.
Can I verify a whole list without signing up?
Partly. The list health check reads up to 5,000 rows in your browser with no account and finds duplicates, bad syntax, typo and dead domains, but it does not check mailboxes. A full mailbox check of a list needs a Google sign-in, which gives 100 free checks with no card.
Is a free no-signup email checker accurate?
Ours runs the same mailbox check as the paid plans. Test any free checker with an invented address at gmail.com: it should come back invalid. Catch-all addresses come back risky, never valid, because the server accepts every address.
Does the checker send an email to the address?
No. It opens a connection to the recipient's mail server, asks about the address and disconnects before any message is sent.

Check an email free, no signup

Pro is $29.99 a month and never cuts you off: the first 100,000 emails a month run at full speed, then big lists run slower. CSV uploads, the API (10,000 calls a month, then $1.50 per 1,000), the Google Sheets add-on and the email finder are included, and you can cancel any time. For smaller volumes, Starter is $9 a month for 2,500 emails a month and Growth $19 a month for 10,000 emails a month.

The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card, on the same engine the paid plans use.
