Can you check if a wp.pl email address exists?
Yes. On 8 November 2026 wp.pl published mx.wp.pl, then mx5.wp.pl, as its mail servers. On 12 October 2026 WP answered a made-up address at RCPT TO with 550 Podane konto nie istnieje / No mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1), in Polish and English, and a fresh made-up address was rejected again through this checker on 8 November.
A missing wp.pl mailbox therefore comes back invalid ("Mailbox not found"), and one WP accepts after rejecting a random address comes back valid. The WP Poczta provider page has the live DNS. The other big Polish webmails run their own servers and answered checks too: see o2.pl and onet.pl.
Can a wp.pl address belong to someone new?
Yes. WP Poczta's terms allow an account and its contents to be deleted after 180 days without a login, and then let another user take over the old address. A wp.pl contact who has been silent for half a year may now reach a different person, so re-confirm older contacts rather than relying on an old opt-in.
WP's anti-spam policy rejects mail without correct reverse DNS or with SPF or DKIM not aligned to the From address, and its bulk sender recommendations tell senders to remove people who don't open.
Can I check a whole list of Polish addresses?
