Naver email checker: does this naver.com mailbox exist?

In short: Asks Naver's own mail server whether a naver.com mailbox exists, without sending anything, after syntax, domain, disposable and role checks. Limit: A valid result shows Naver accepted the mailbox today, not that anyone reads it or agreed to your mail.

To check if a Naver address exists, enter it here. The checker asks Naver's mail server about the naver.com mailbox at RCPT TO, then disconnects before any message is sent. Naver rejected made-up addresses with 550 5.1.1 No such user. on 12 October and 8 November 2026, so a missing mailbox comes back invalid and an accepted one valid.

Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. Check your list free nowSee pricing

Tuned for naver.com. Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.

How do I check a whole list of Naver addresses?

  1. Export the list as a CSV or copy the email column; Naver rows and every other domain can go in together.
  2. Upload or paste it at /verify. The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card.
  3. For every list after that, Pro includes unlimited email verification. Fair use: the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off.

How do I check a Naver email address?

  1. Type or paste one address, such as [email protected].
  2. Press Check. The tool checks the syntax and domain, asks Naver's server about a random address that can't exist, then about yours, and disconnects before anything is sent.
  3. Read the verdict: valid means Naver accepted the mailbox and rejected the made-up one, invalid means it said there is no such user, risky means the check didn't get a clear answer.
  4. If it comes back risky, check again later: with Naver that is usually a cut-short check, not a bad address.

Example

You enter
One address: [email protected].
You get
Valid when Naver accepts the mailbox after rejecting a random address; invalid ("Mailbox not found") when it answers 550 5.1.1 No such user.; risky only when the check gets no clear answer.
Limits
Five checks a minute per IP address, one address at a time, no account needed.

How do I check if a naver.com address exists without emailing it?

Ask Naver's mail server instead of the mailbox. On 8 November 2026 naver.com published mx1.mail.naver.com, then mx4, mx5 and mx6.mail.naver.com, as its MX hosts. On 12 October 2026 Naver answered a made-up address at RCPT TO with 550 5.1.1 No such user., and through this checker on 8 November it rejected a fresh made-up address the same way, with a link to Naver's help page for the error.

So a single naver.com mailbox can be confirmed: a rejection comes back invalid ("Mailbox not found") and an acceptance valid. The Naver provider page has the full DNS snapshot.

What does Naver expect from people who email its users?

Naver's spam policy says bulk mail sent without the recipients' consent is treated as spam even if it otherwise follows the rules. A clean naver.com list is about opt-in records as much as valid addresses.

The same policy requires commercial mail to show '광고' (advertisement) in the subject and body and to explain how to opt out, and says Naver has checked SPF on incoming mail since 22 November 2005. Verify the addresses, then make sure the consent and sending setup are right too.

Can I check a whole list of Korean addresses?

Yes. Sign in and use the bulk verifier for a CSV or a pasted list; naver.com rows get the same mailbox check as here, alongside Daum, Gmail and everything else.

For Daum and Hanmail addresses, the Daum email checker works the same way. The email checker handles any other domain.

What can this checker confirm at Naver?

Each row is something the check runs on a Naver address, and the result you can get from it.

What can’t this tool tell you?

  • A valid result shows Naver accepted the mailbox today, not that anyone reads it or agreed to your mail.
  • A temporary reply or a refused connection comes back risky, not invalid.
  • Naver doesn't publish how its servers answer mailbox checks; the handling here is from our own checks, which can change.
  • One address at a time, five a minute.

Common questions

How do I check if a naver.com email address is valid?
Enter it here. The checker confirms the syntax and mail servers, then asks Naver's server about the mailbox without sending. Naver rejects addresses that don't exist, so a missing mailbox comes back invalid.
Does Naver accept email from any sender?
Naver's spam policy treats bulk mail sent without consent as spam, requires '광고' in the subject and body of commercial mail, and says Naver has checked SPF since 2005.
What does 550 5.1.1 No such user mean from Naver?
It is a permanent rejection at RCPT TO: Naver has no mailbox by that name. It is the reply we got for a made-up address. Treat it as a hard bounce and remove the address.
Why did my Naver address come back risky?
Naver answers mailbox checks, so risky usually means the check was cut short by a temporary reply or a refused connection. Check again later before you drop the address.
Is this checker free?
Yes, five checks a minute with no account. For a whole list, sign in with Google for 100 free email checks, no card, or use a monthly plan.
