How do I check a whole list of BT addresses?

Can you check if a btinternet.com address exists?
Yes. On 8 November 2026 btinternet.com, btopenworld.com and talk21.com all published one MX host, mx.bt.prod.cloud.openwave.ai. On 12 October 2026 it answered a made-up btinternet.com address at RCPT TO with 550 RCPT TO:<…@btinternet.com> User unknown, and a fresh made-up address was rejected again through this checker on 8 November.
A missing BT mailbox therefore comes back invalid ("Mailbox not found"), and one BT accepts after rejecting a random address comes back valid. Why do BT addresses go dead?
BT's usage policy for Standard and Basic email sends reminders after 60 and 90 days without a login, and at 150 days deletes the address and everything in the mailbox. A btinternet.com contact who has been silent for about five months may no longer exist.
One service runs @btinternet.com, @btopenworld.com and @talk21.com, per BT's product page. BT's account help says the account holder can reuse a deleted address for up to three years, so an address that bounced once can come back: check again rather than reviving old records blindly.
Can I check a whole list of UK addresses?
