163 email checker: 163.com, 126.com and yeah.net
In short: Asks NetEase's own mail servers whether a 163.com, 126.com or yeah.net mailbox exists, without sending anything, after syntax, domain, disposable and role checks. Limit: A valid result shows NetEase accepted the mailbox today, not that the same person still owns it.
To check if a 163.com address exists, enter it here. The checker asks NetEase's mail server about the 163.com, 126.com or yeah.net mailbox at RCPT TO, then disconnects before any message is sent. NetEase rejected made-up 163.com and 126.com addresses with 550 User not found on 12 October and 8 November 2026, so a missing mailbox comes back invalid.
Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. Check your list free nowSee pricing

How do I check a whole list of NetEase addresses?
- Export the list as a CSV or copy the email column; NetEase rows and every other domain can go in together.
- Upload or paste it at /verify. The first 100 email checks are free with a Google sign-in, no card.
- For every list after that, Pro includes unlimited email verification. Fair use: the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off.
How do I check a 163.com email address?
- Type or paste one address, such as
[email protected],[email protected]or[email protected]. - Press Check. The tool checks the syntax and domain, asks NetEase's server about a random address that can't exist, then about yours, and disconnects before anything is sent.
- Read the verdict: valid means NetEase accepted the mailbox and rejected the made-up one, invalid means it said the user was not found, risky means the check didn't get a clear answer.
- If it comes back risky, check again later: with NetEase that is usually a cut-short check, not a bad address.
Example
- You enter
- One address:
[email protected]. - You get
- Valid when NetEase accepts the mailbox after rejecting a random address; invalid ("Mailbox not found") when it answers
550 User not found; risky only when the check gets no clear answer. - Limits
- Five checks a minute per IP address, one address at a time, no account needed.
How do I check if a 163.com email address exists?
Ask NetEase's mail server instead of the mailbox. On 8 November 2026 163.com published 163mx01 to 163mx03.mxmail.netease.com (then 163mx00), 126.com the matching 126mx hosts and yeah.net yeahmx01.mxmail.netease.com. On 12 October 2026 NetEase answered made-up 163.com and 126.com addresses at RCPT TO with 550 User not found, and fresh made-up addresses got the same rejection through this checker on 8 November.
So a single NetEase mailbox can be confirmed: a rejection comes back invalid ("Mailbox not found") and an acceptance valid. The 163 Mail provider page and 126 Mail provider page have the full DNS snapshots.
Can a 163.com address change hands?
Yes. NetEase's help centre says an account left unused for a long time can be reclaimed and, after a release period it doesn't specify, registered again by someone else. An old 163.com address that verifies today may belong to a new owner, which makes consent tied to old addresses less reliable.
One account system covers the free 163.com, 126.com and yeah.net domains and paid ones such as 188.com, so group them as one provider in your reports. NetEase also rejects mail from IPs the sending domain's SPF doesn't authorise, with 550 MI:SPF.
Can I check a whole list of Chinese addresses?
Yes. Sign in and use the bulk verifier for a CSV or a pasted list; NetEase rows get the same mailbox check as here, alongside QQ Mail and everything else.
For qq.com and foxmail.com addresses, the QQ email checker works the same way. The email checker handles any other domain.
What can this checker confirm at NetEase?
Each row is something the check runs on a NetEase address, and the result you can get from it.
| Check | Can we confirm it? | Result when it fails |
|---|---|---|
| Syntax (the address is written correctly) | Yes | Invalid |
| Domain and mail server (MX) | Yes | Invalid, with a typo suggestion where one fits |
| Disposable or role address | Yes | Invalid (disposable) or risky (role) |
| The mailbox exists | Yes: NetEase answers at RCPT TO (550 User not found) | Invalid, "Mailbox not found" |
| A temporary reply or timeout | No answer to read | Risky, worth checking again later |
| Someone reads the inbox | No checker can | Use opens, replies or a small first send |
Our checking server offered a made-up address and disconnected without sending, on 12 or 13 October 2026 and again through this checker on 8 November 2026.

Common questions
- How do I check if a 163.com email address is valid?
- Enter it here. The checker confirms the syntax and mail servers, then asks NetEase's server about the mailbox without sending. NetEase rejects addresses that don't exist, so a missing mailbox comes back invalid.
- Are 126.com and yeah.net the same as 163.com?
- They are NetEase free mail domains under one account system, each with its own mxmail.netease.com servers. This checker covers all three.
- Does NetEase recycle unused 163.com addresses?
- NetEase's help says accounts unused for a long time can be reclaimed, and after an unspecified release time the name can be registered again.
- What does 550 MI:SPF mean from 163.com?
- NetEase's help lists it as a rejection of mail from an IP the sending domain's SPF record doesn't authorise. It is about your sending setup, not the recipient's mailbox.
- Is this checker free?
- Yes, five checks a minute with no account. For a whole list, sign in with Google for 100 free email checks, no card, or use a monthly plan.
