Email to revive an old lead
Writing to a prospect who showed real interest months ago, had a call or requested pricing, and then went quiet. It gives a reason to write now and lets them close it in a word.

The email
Hi {{first_name}},
We spoke in {{month}} about {{project}}. At the time, {{blocker}} was the hold-up.
I'm writing because {{reason_now}}. If {{project}} is back on the table, that might make it easier.
Is this worth revisiting? A one-word answer is fine: "yes", "later" or "no".
{{your_name}}Highlighted {{placeholders}} are the parts to replace. If you cannot fill one with something true and specific, cut the sentence rather than leaving it generic.
When to use it
Use it for leads that went cold after a real conversation, three months or more ago. You need a genuine reason to write now: a new feature, a price change, a relevant case study, or a change at their company such as new funding or a new hire in the relevant role.
If you have no new reason, do not send it. "Just checking in" six months later is noise.
Why it works
- It reminds them where you left off. Nobody remembers a sales call from six months ago in detail.
- The blocker shows you listened, and it ties your new reason to their actual problem.
- Three one-word answers make replying almost free, and "later" gives you a clean way to stay in touch.
Before you send
Leads that went quiet months ago are the most likely to have left their company. Check each address with the free email checker, or run the whole stale segment through the free list check, before you send. Old CRM exports are where most hard bounces come from.
