Toll-free and premium numbers in Nepal
Toll-free numbers in Nepal start with 01660 or 01800 when dialled inside Nepal (1660 or 1800 after +977 from abroad) and have 11 digits after the country code. Google's numbering-plan data lists no premium-rate range for Nepal. Example: 16600101234, or +97716600101234 in E.164.

Every valid Nepal number of each type starts with one of these digit groups. The example column shows Google’s example number for the range, written internationally.
| Type | Starts with, after +977 | Dialled inside Nepal | Digits | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toll-free | 1660, 1800 | 01660, 01800 | 11 | +977 16600101234 |
What each type means for the caller
- Toll-free: 01660 or 01800
- Free to the caller, usually only from inside the country; the business that owns the number pays for the call. 11 digits after +977.
Writing and dialling a Nepal toll-free number
Inside Nepal, dial the number with its leading 0. From abroad or in E.164, drop the 0 and put +977 in front: 16600101234 becomes +97716600101234. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Nepal, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.
Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list
In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Nepal phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

- How many digits is a Nepal toll-free number?
- 11 digits after the country code +977, plus the trunk prefix 0 when dialled inside Nepal.

The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.
In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.
