Email verification for deliverability consultants
A deliverability audit has two halves: the sending setup and the list. Authentication, blocklists and DNS are covered by the free tools on this site; the list is covered by verification. Use both in an engagement, file each client's lists under a workspace on Agency ($249 a month), and hand back a results file with reasons per row.

The use case
A client complains about bounces or low replies. You check SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blocklists, then the list they are sending to. Verification separates a list problem (dead and risky addresses) from a setup problem (authentication), so you can tell the client which one to fix first.
The workflow
- 1
Check the setup
Run the SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blocklist tools on the client's sending domain.
- 2
Verify a sample, then the list
Start with a sample file to size the problem, then verify the full list.
- 3
Read the reasons
Every row has a status and a reason, so you can show the client why an address was flagged.
- 4
Keep engagements apart
On Agency, give each client a workspace and filter exports by client.
- 5
Productise it
Use the API to bundle list checks into your audit tooling.
Which plan fits
Pro ($29.99) is enough for a solo consultant with a handful of clients. Business ($99) adds 5 seats; Agency ($249) adds client workspaces and 15 seats.
Full speed is a monthly volume, not a promise of hours. Mailbox checks are paced and the day's check capacity is shared between customers, so a very large list takes days. It queues rather than failing, and the job card shows an estimated finish time. Plan client deadlines around that.
Verification cannot diagnose a reputation problem on its own. Treat it as one input in an audit, next to authentication and blocklist checks.

Competitor figures are the cheapest published route that covers the volume in one month: a subscription tier whose allowance covers it, or the pay-as-you-go pack bought again each month. Common questions
- Which free tools help with the sending-domain side?
- The DNS and authentication tools on /tools cover SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, MTA-STS and blocklist checks.
- How do seats and client workspaces work?
- A seat is one person, the owner included: Business has 5 seats and Agency has 15. Teammates share the account's lists, monthly volume and API keys. Client workspaces are on Agency: you pick a client when you upload a list, then filter History and exports by client. Deleting a workspace keeps its lists; they just lose the label.
- What does the priority lane do, and how fast is it?
- Big lists on Business and Agency go ahead of other big lists in the shared queue, within the plan's monthly full-speed volume. Small lists under 2,000 rows always run first on every plan. Full speed is a monthly volume, not a promise of hours. Mailbox checks are paced and the day's check capacity is shared between customers, so a very large list takes days. It queues rather than failing, and the job card shows an estimated finish time. Plan client deadlines around that.
- Can we call it from our own tooling?
- Yes. Business includes 100,000 API calls a month and Agency 300,000, then $1.00 per 1,000 on monthly billing. Docs are at /docs/api.
