Toll-free and premium numbers in Thailand
Toll-free numbers in Thailand start with 00018 or 01800 when dialled inside Thailand (0018 or 1800 after +66 from abroad) and have 10 or 13 digits after the country code. Premium-rate numbers start with 01900. Example: 1800 123 456, or +661800123456 in E.164.

Every valid Thailand number of each type starts with one of these digit groups. The example column shows Google’s example number for the range, written internationally.

What each type means for the caller
- Toll-free: 00018 or 01800
- Free to the caller, usually only from inside the country; the business that owns the number pays for the call. 10 or 13 digits after +66.
- Premium rate: 01900
- Charged above a normal call at a rate set by the service, with part of the charge going to the service provider. 10 digits after +66.
- VoIP: 060 or 068
- Numbers issued for internet telephony services rather than a fixed line or a mobile network. 9 digits after +66.
Writing and dialling a Thailand toll-free number
Inside Thailand, dial the number with its leading 0. From abroad or in E.164, drop the 0 and put +66 in front: 1800 123 456 becomes +661800123456. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Thailand, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.
Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list
In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Thailand phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

A prefix says what a range is for. A live lookup says what the line is now.

Common questions
- What is the toll-free prefix in Thailand?
- Thailand toll-free numbers start with 00018 or 01800 at home, written +66 0018 or 1800 internationally. Every valid toll-free number starts that way, though not every number with those digits is in service.
- How many digits is a Thailand toll-free number?
- 10 or 13 digits after the country code +66, plus the trunk prefix 0 when dialled inside Thailand.
- Can I call a Thailand toll-free number from abroad?
- Sometimes. Dial +66 and the number without the leading 0. Many freephone numbers only take calls from inside Thailand, and where they do connect from abroad the call is usually charged.
- How do I spot a premium-rate number in Thailand?
- By its first digits: 01900. The prefix tells you the range is charged; the actual price is set per service.

The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.
In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.
