How much does email verification cost?
At published list prices on 1 and 2 October 2026, verifying 10,000 addresses cost between $11.90 and $129, and 1 million between $349 and $3,199. The median was $5.00 per 1,000 at 10,000 addresses, $3.20 at 100,000 and $1.35 at 1 million. SimpleVerifier plans are monthly, from $9 a month.
Pay per list or pay monthly
Credit packs usually win for one small pass; a flat monthly plan usually wins for big or repeated lists, because re-checks count as new passes on pay-per-email pricing. The cheapest vendor changes with volume: Reoon was cheapest at 10,000 but eighth at 1 million.
Add the hidden costs when comparing: credit expiry, charges for unknown results, and the API or seat limits. SimpleVerifier's first 100 checks are free with a Google sign-in; plans and seats are on the pricing page.

- Is cheaper always better?
- No. Price is only one input; a verifier that labels unconfirmed addresses valid costs you in bounces. Compare price per confirmed result, not per row.

Figures marked as ours come from SimpleVerifier’s own dated tests on made-up addresses, published with their data on the research page. No customer data is used, and we publish no accuracy percentage because we have no independent measurement to back one.
Do it now
Test it on a real address first
Type any address. It gets the same check the paid plans run: syntax, the domain’s mail servers and, where the provider allows it, a live mailbox check. Nothing is sent to the address.
Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.
