How do I verify a CSV file of email addresses?
Upload the CSV to a bulk verifier, wait for the job to finish, and download the file with a status and reason beside each address. SimpleVerifier takes up to 100,000 rows per file and finds the email column automatically, whatever its header, with comma or semicolon separators.
Before you upload
The steps, in order.
- Save as CSV with UTF-8 encoding so accented characters survive.
- Remove duplicates and rows you already know are suppressed.
- Keep your own ID column so you can match the results back to your records.
After
The result columns include the status (valid, risky, invalid), a reason, and send advice. The first 100 checks are free with a Google sign-in, so you can test a sample before paying.

Figures marked as ours come from SimpleVerifier’s own dated tests on made-up addresses, published with their data on the research page. No customer data is used, and we publish no accuracy percentage because we have no independent measurement to back one.
Do it now
Test it on a real address first
Type any address. It gets the same check the paid plans run: syntax, the domain’s mail servers and, where the provider allows it, a live mailbox check. Nothing is sent to the address.
Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.
Have a list? Sign in with Google and the first 100 addresses are checked free, with results to download. No card.
