Verify Dropcontact Results Before a Cold Campaign: Nominative, Catch-All and Missing Emails
Dropcontact verifies every email at the moment it enriches a contact, so results you enrich and send the same day rarely need a second check. Re-verify when the enrichment is more than a few days old, when contacts sit in Pipedrive or HubSpot before a sequence, or when you merge Dropcontact output with other sources. Send catch-all results in their own smaller batch: Dropcontact says it verifies them, but a catch-all server accepts every address, so they carry more risk than confirmed mailboxes.
How Dropcontact works
From Dropcontact's homepage and pricing page, read 8 November 2026:
- It finds emails from a website, first name and last name, using "proprietary algorithms and test servers to find, verify, and validate all data", and contrasts this with tools that "rely on personal databases".
- "Every email is verified in real time using proprietary technology developed and operated in-house", and it "does not rely on third-party email verification services".
- The Starter plan (79 euros a month) lists "Pay on success", "Native and exclusive email validation" and "Advanced catch-all verification". Growth was 120 euros a month.
- "In case an email is not found by Dropcontact, it will be re-credited to you."
- Native integrations include Pipedrive and HubSpot, plus tools such as PhantomBuster, La Growth Machine and Waalaxy, and Zapier, Make and n8n.
Dropcontact publishes separate figures for nominative and catch-all emails, which is itself a useful signal: even the vendor treats catch-alls as a different category.
When a second check is worth it
| Situation | Re-verify? |
|---|---|
| Enriched today, sending today | Usually not |
| Enriched more than a few days ago | Yes |
| Contacts synced into a CRM and pulled into a sequence later | Yes |
| File merges Dropcontact with Apollo, scraped or bought data | Yes, the whole file |
| Catch-all results | Separate batch either way |
The reason is decay, not distrust. Because Dropcontact builds emails rather than storing them, it doesn't refresh your copy after you export it. People leave; mailboxes close.
The routine
- Export the enriched contacts from Pipedrive, HubSpot or the CSV, with the email qualification column if your export includes one. The Pipedrive contacts to email list and HubSpot contacts to email list tools pull a clean email column.
- Dedupe with remove duplicate emails and drop role addresses from person-level campaigns with the role-based email filter.
- Verify on the verify page: a live SMTP mailbox check per address, back as valid, risky (with the reason), invalid or unknown. SimpleVerifier never labels a catch-all valid; it grades it (catch-all scoring).
- Send in waves: valid rows first; catch-alls a day later, a few hundred at most, stopping if hard bounces pass 2%. Most sequencers pause around that level; see bounce rate thresholds by platform.
- Write results back to the CRM so the next sequence doesn't pick up invalid contacts: verify emails in Pipedrive, verify HubSpot contacts.
GDPR
Dropcontact markets itself on GDPR. Verification is part of keeping data accurate under GDPR's accuracy principle (Article 5(1)(d)), but it doesn't give you a lawful basis for the email itself. Read GDPR for B2B cold email and email verification and GDPR.

Common questions
Does Dropcontact verify emails?
Yes. Dropcontact says every email is verified in real time using technology it built and runs in-house, and that it doesn't rely on third-party verification services. Its Starter plan lists 'Native and exclusive email validation' and 'Advanced catch-all verification'.
Does Dropcontact charge if no email is found?
Its pricing page says 'Pay on success' and 'In case an email is not found by Dropcontact, it will be re-credited to you.' On 8 November 2026 the Starter plan was 79 euros a month and Growth 120 euros a month.
Should I send to Dropcontact catch-all emails?
Dropcontact says it verifies catch-all emails, but a catch-all server accepts every address during a check, so these results rest on more than a mailbox confirmation. Send them in a smaller batch after your nominative results and stop if bounces pass 2%.
Do I need to verify Dropcontact results again?
Not if you enriched today and send today. Re-verify when the enrichment is older than a few days, when it sits in a CRM before a sequence, or when you merge it with other sources.
