Truelist Alternatives: Unlimited Without a 3-Month Commitment, and Catch-All Options
The main reasons to look past Truelist are the commitment on its Unlimited plan and the cost of credits at small volumes. As of 2 November 2026, Unlimited is $999 a month on a 3-month term, paid upfront ($2,997), or $799 a month on 12 months ($9,588 upfront). Credits start at $1.40 per 1,000. If you want a flat bill without a term, or a one-off clean, there are cheaper options. If you want catch-all addresses resolved rather than graded, Truelist does something most alternatives, including us, don't, and that should drive the decision more than price.
Truelist's terms, as of 2 November 2026
From Truelist's pricing page, read 2 November 2026:
- Free: $0 "forever", 100 validations, standard and enhanced catch-all resolution, one team member, no card.
- Pay as you go: 1 credit per standard validation "with a definitive verdict". $1.40 per 1,000 up to 10k credits, $1.10 up to 50k, $0.90 up to 250k, $0.70 up to 1M; above that, contact sales. Credits never expire.
- Enhanced catch-all resolution: runs only where standard validation returns "unknown", at 3 credits per resolved address.
- Unlimited: $999 a month on 3 months ($2,997 upfront), $899 on 6 months ($5,394), $799 on 12 months ($9,588). Includes unlimited standard validation, 10,000 enhanced catch-all resolutions a month, deliverability monitoring (25 domains, 50 sending IPs), API access and unlimited team members. Its FAQ: "Unlimited means no volume cap and no per-email charges for standard validation." Term changes take effect at renewal.
- Enterprise: from $2,000 a month, with an SLA, SOC 2 Type II report, SAML/SSO and white labeling.
Those are good terms for a high-volume team that needs catch-alls resolved. The friction is the entry point to Unlimited: you are committing at least $2,997 before you know how it performs on your lists.
If you want a flat monthly bill
Truelist's Unlimited is the only one in this group with a term commitment. Other flat or high-volume options, from the vendors' own pages:
| Option | Price | What "unlimited" or the allowance means | Term |
|---|---|---|---|
| Truelist Unlimited | $799-$999/mo | No cap on standard validation; 10,000 catch-all resolutions/mo | 3, 6 or 12 months, upfront |
| SimpleVerifier Pro | $39/mo | No cap, never cut off; the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower | Monthly, cancel anytime |
| SimpleVerifier Business | $99/mo | Same, with the first 300,000 at full speed | Monthly |
| SimpleVerifier Agency | $249/mo | Same, with the first 750,000 at full speed | Monthly |
| DeBounce | $690/mo for 1,000,000 | A monthly allowance, not unlimited | Monthly |
| NeverBounce Enterprise | Custom | "Unlimited usage across teams" | Contract |
Truelist read 2 November 2026; DeBounce and NeverBounce from our unlimited verification comparison, read 27 October 2026.
Be clear about what our "unlimited" means. Nothing past the full-speed volume is refused or charged, but it runs in a paced lane behind other customers' full-speed lists. Full speed itself is shared capacity, about 30 addresses a minute averaged over a day, so a 100,000-row list takes days, not minutes. If you need a million addresses back the same afternoon, a flat plan priced like ours isn't built for that. The API is also not unlimited: Pro includes 10,000 API calls a month, then $1.50 per 1,000.
If you clean a big list once
For a single clean you won't repeat, credit packs beat any subscription. Truelist's own credits are competitive here, falling to $0.70 per 1,000 at up to a million, and they never expire.
| Vendor | 1,000,000 addresses | Credits expire? | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Truelist | $700 at $0.70 per 1,000 | No | 2 Nov 2026 |
| MillionVerifier | $449 one-time | No | 30 Oct 2026 |
| DeBounce | $750 one-time | No (pay as you go) | 27 Oct 2026 |
| Bouncer | $2,000 one-time | No | 27 Oct 2026 |
Truelist's figure is arithmetic on its published per-1,000 rate; the others are published pack prices from each vendor's pricing page. The balance flips for a list you re-check every month: 100,000 Truelist credits a month cost $90 at its $0.90 rate, against $39 for our Pro plan, and the gap grows with each extra pass. For small one-off jobs, Truelist's $1.40 per 1,000 is a low entry price. The verification cost calculator works out the cheapest option for your volume.
If catch-alls are the real problem
This is where the alternatives differ most, and where we have to be straightforward about our own limits.
- Truelist resolves. It runs an enhanced check on addresses that come back unknown and charges 3 credits for each one it resolves. The Unlimited plan includes 10,000 of those a month.
- Scrubby sends and watches. Its Deep Verification sends real emails and watches for bounces over 72 hours, at 3 credits per email. See our Scrubby alternatives post for its terms.
- SimpleVerifier grades. Catch-all rows stay risky, with a higher, medium or lower likelihood and the reasons. We never mark a catch-all address valid. The catch-all scoring page lists the signals.
Grading costs nothing extra and is honest, but it doesn't turn a catch-all into a confirmed address. If half your list is catch-all and each lead is valuable, a resolver on that slice can be worth the cost. A common setup is to run the cheap check on everything and pay for resolution only on the catch-all slice. Our comparison of catch-all verification methods explains the four approaches and how to test one on your own list.
We haven't run an accuracy test on Truelist or any other vendor, and we don't publish accuracy figures for ourselves. To compare tools, use a sample of your own list and count real bounces; our bench test guide has the method.
When to stay with Truelist
- You verify several million addresses a month and need results fast.
- A large share of your lists are catch-all, and resolution is worth paying for.
- You want deliverability monitoring, SSO or a SOC 2 report in the same contract.
When an alternative fits better
- You want a flat bill without paying for three months upfront.
- Your volume is under a few hundred thousand a month and speed isn't critical.
- You clean big lists occasionally and want a one-off pack.
Where SimpleVerifier fits
Try it on your own list first: upload a file on the verify page; the first 100 checks are free with a Google sign-in. Pro is $39 a month with the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off. See pricing.

Common questions
How much does Truelist cost?
On 2 November 2026 Truelist's pricing page listed a free tier with 100 validations, pay-as-you-go credits from $1.40 per 1,000 down to $0.70 per 1,000 at up to 1 million, an Unlimited plan at $999, $899 or $799 a month on 3, 6 or 12-month terms billed upfront, and Enterprise from $2,000 a month.
Is Truelist really unlimited?
Its FAQ says "Unlimited means no volume cap and no per-email charges for standard validation." Enhanced catch-all resolution is not unlimited: the plan includes 10,000 a month. The page shows no separate fair-use policy.
Is there a cheaper unlimited email verifier than Truelist?
Yes, with a different kind of limit. SimpleVerifier Pro is $39 a month with no term: no cap and never cut off, with the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then big lists run slower. It grades catch-all addresses instead of resolving them.
Do Truelist credits expire?
No. Its pricing page says credits never expire.
