Is freundin.ru a disposable email address?

About Tempr.email

One of the 61 domains tempr.email lets anyone pick (a .ru domain whose name is German for "girlfriend"); its MX record points to mx.discard.email. Mail stays available for up to 30 days, much longer than most throwaway services.

Why it verifies as deliverable anyway

While the inbox is live, freundin.ru behaves like any ordinary mail host. It has valid MX records, it accepts mail, and the mailbox exists. A verifier that checks syntax, DNS and the mailbox will report the address as valid — correctly, on the evidence available.

That is why disposable detection has to be a separate check against a maintained list, and why the size of that list is the whole product. Nothing in the address or the SMTP conversation reveals that the mailbox is about to be discarded.

Common questions

Is freundin.ru a disposable email address?

Yes. freundin.ru is Tempr.email, a temporary email service. Addresses at it typically last up to 30 days, after which mail sent to them stops being read. It is one of 8,740 disposable domains SimpleVerifier blocks, so any address at it is classified invalid rather than valid.

Will email sent to a freundin.ru address be delivered?

Often yes, right now — and that is the trap. While the inbox is live the mail server accepts messages normally, so the address verifies as deliverable on any tool that only checks DNS and the mailbox. It stops being read once the up to 30 days window closes, so the delivery is real and the relationship is not.

Should I block signups from freundin.ru?

For a paid product or a free trial, yes — a throwaway address is the standard way to farm repeat trials and there is no way to reach that user again. For a content signup it is a judgement call, since some people use throwaways for legitimate privacy reasons. A middle path is to accept the signup but require a confirmed permanent address before granting anything valuable.
