Is ZeroBounce Legit? Who Runs It, Prices, Refunds and Credit Expiry (November 2026)

··3 min read

Yes, ZeroBounce is legit: it's an established email verifier operated by Hertza L.L.C., doing business as ZeroBounce, a Nevada limited liability company based in Santa Barbara, California. It's also one of the pricier verifiers per check, from $39 for 2,000. Three things to know before you buy: credit packs are final sale, the money-back clause only covers the ZeroBounce ONE subscription, and credits on newer accounts expire two years after your last purchase.

Sources: ZeroBounce's terms of use (last revised 5 May 2026) and pricing, read 3 November 2026; prices as recorded on our ZeroBounce comparison page (checked 30 October 2026). We sell a competing verifier; we make no claims about ZeroBounce's accuracy.

5,000 $69 $13.80

Refunds and the guarantee, read closely

Purchase What the terms say
Credit packs "All sales/prepayments for credits made to ZeroBounce are final and non-refundable"
ZeroBounce ONE Full refund to the original payment method if requested "within 30 days of Customer's first subscription payment date"
Cancelling a subscription "No refunds are provided for any charges incurred or processed prior to Customer's cancellation"

ZeroBounce also publishes a separate bounce guarantee. Its conditions include an opt-in list you collected yourself, which rules out most cold-email lists; our bounce guarantees roundup sets it beside the others.

Who it suits

ZeroBounce suits teams that want a wider deliverability suite alongside verification: inbox placement testing, blacklist monitoring and email server testing. If you only need lists cleaned, the per-check price is high next to most verifiers in our pricing index.

The catches

  1. Packs are final sale. Use the free monthly validations on a sample before buying.
  2. Credits can expire. On newer accounts, two years after your last purchase unless ONE is active.
  3. Per-pass billing. Each re-check of the same list costs full price again.

Where SimpleVerifier fits

If you re-check lists every month, a flat plan can cost less: Pro is $39 a month with the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off. Before any upload, strip throwaway addresses with the bulk disposable email checker. Run a sample through both: the first 100 checks are free with a Google sign-in at /verify. The full side-by-side is at SimpleVerifier vs ZeroBounce.
