Is NeverBounce Legit? Who Owns It, What It Costs and the Catches (November 2026)

··2 min read

Yes, NeverBounce is legit. It's a long-running email verifier owned by ZoomInfo: DiscoverOrg, which later took the ZoomInfo name, announced it had bought NeverBounce on 5 March 2019. It publishes its prices, offers an API and integrations, and describes a bounce guarantee in its help centre. The catches are commercial: pay-as-you-go credits expire after 12 months, and one-off packs cost several times more per address than its own Growth plan.

Ownership by a large, listed data company is about as strong a "real business" signal as this market gets. It also means NeverBounce sits inside a sales data group, which matters if your vendor review asks where list data goes. Ask for its DPA and subprocessors.

What it costs

Pay-as-you-go, checked 2 November 2026:

Pack Price Per 1,000
1,000 $8 $8.00
10,000 $50 $5.00
50,000 $250 $5.00
100,000 $400 $4.00
500,000 $1,500 $3.00
1,000,000 $2,500 $2.50

Growth, monthly: $49 for up to 10,000, $99 for 50,000, $159 for 100,000, $249 for 250,000, $499 for 500,000 and $999 for 1,000,000.

Above 50,000, Growth costs a fraction of the packs. Packs make sense for a small one-off job you'll finish within the year. Full tables are on the NeverBounce comparison page, and ZeroBounce vs NeverBounce compares it with its best-known rival.

The catches

  1. Credits expire. A pack bought for a campaign that slips by a year is lost. Most low-cost rivals' pack credits don't expire.
  2. Packs are pricey per address. $2.50 per 1,000 at a million, against $0.45 to $0.75 at the cheapest published vendors in our pricing index.
  3. Guarantees have conditions. Every verifier guarantee we've read has a time window, a minimum list size and rules on which bounces count. Read NeverBounce's current page before you rely on it; our bounce guarantees roundup explains what to look for.

How to decide

Run the same 500-row sample from your own list through NeverBounce's free test credits and one other verifier, send to each tool's valid rows, and compare bounces. Our bench test guide has the method. To spot-check a single address first, try will this email bounce?.
