ZeroBounce vs NeverBounce: Prices, Expiry and Which Suits Your Volume

··4 min read

ZeroBounce and NeverBounce are both established email verifiers, and for small one-off lists NeverBounce was cheaper in the published prices we checked: $80 for 10,000 checks against $129 at ZeroBounce. ZeroBounce offers a free plan of 100 credits a month and more add-on products; NeverBounce's credits expire 12 months after purchase. For heavy or repeated verification, neither is the lowest-cost option.

At ZeroBounce, larger packs bring the price per 1,000 down a long way: 100,000 credits were $649, or $6.49 per 1,000, against $12.90 per 1,000 at 10,000.

Where each one is stronger

ZeroBounce

  • A free plan with 100 credits every month, handy for spot-checking signups or a few leads.
  • A wider product range beyond list cleaning, if you want extra tools from one vendor.
  • Large packs that reduce the per-address price at high volume.

NeverBounce

  • Lower prices on small lists in the figures above.
  • A simple per-email rate with no pack sizes to round up to.
  • A long list of native integrations with ESPs and CRMs.

Which suits which buyer

You are... Leans towards
Cleaning one list under 10,000 NeverBounce on these prices, or a cheaper third option

Using an ESP that NeverBounce connects to natively NeverBounce
Wanting extra tools from the same vendor ZeroBounce

When a third option costs less

Both bill per credit, so the cost grows with every address and every re-check. In the same month's published prices:

Vendor 10,000 one-off Source, date checked
DeBounce $25 debounce.com, 12 Oct 2026
EmailListVerify $27 emaillistverify.com, 20 Oct 2026

If you verify cold email leads every week, the monthly volume including re-checks is what matters. See unlimited verification vs credits for the break-even maths, or put your numbers into the verification cost calculator.

What price comparisons miss

Two verifiers can give different answers on the same list. Before choosing on price, check:

  1. How catch-all domains are labelled. You need them separate from valid.
  2. How many unknowns come back on your kind of list, and whether they are charged.
  3. Whether duplicates are charged once or per row.
  4. What the export looks like. Original columns kept, segments split.

The only reliable way to judge is to run the same sample through each. How to bench test email verifiers shows how. Our comparison pages for ZeroBounce and NeverBounce list what each does better than us, too.

Worked example: 10,000 leads a month for a year

A cold email team adding about 10,000 new leads a month, using the published prices above:

Option Monthly Year
ZeroBounce ONE, 10,000 tier $99 $1,188
ZeroBounce 10,000 pack each month $129 $1,548
NeverBounce Growth, up to 10,000 $49 $588
NeverBounce pay as you go $80 $960

Annual billing changes some of these lines, so check each vendor's yearly prices. The bigger point is that both ZeroBounce and NeverBounce bill by volume. If the same team also re-checks 10,000 older contacts a month, the per-credit lines roughly double, while a flat plan does not change.

Switching between them

If you already use one and are tempted by the other, try both on the same sample first. Pull 300 to 500 rows at random with the email list sampler and compare the labels row by row.

Add a third tool to your test

If you are already comparing these two, add one more column. You get 100 free email checks when you sign in with Google, no card. Upload the same sample on the verify page and compare all three results before you buy.
