Lead411 Alternatives With Intent Data and Contacts: What to Compare Before You Switch
If your problem with Lead411 is the email and phone data, not the intent data, compare UpLead and Cognism on the same test list, and also price the option of keeping Lead411 and checking emails before they're sent. Intent data almost always sits on the top, custom-priced tier, so the real comparison is a sales call. Bring numbers from your own sends.
The question came up on r/gtmengineering: a team about eight months into Lead411 said deliverable emails had fallen from roughly three in four to closer to six in ten, mobile numbers rarely connected, and the intent signals sometimes pointed at companies that had already bought from a competitor. They wanted fresh intent and accurate contacts in one tool. Here's what the published terms say.
Lead411's published plans
From Lead411's pricing page (read 3 November 2026):
| Plan | Price | Exports | Intent data |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot Light | $0 for 7 days | 50 | Not listed |
| Spark (monthly) | $49/month | 1,000 a month | Not listed |
| Ignite (monthly) | From $150/month | 1,000+ a month, API | Not listed |
| Spark (annual) | $490/year | 12,000 a year | Included |
| Ignite (annual) | $1,500/year | Flexible | Add-on |
| Blaze | Custom | "Unlimited Exports / Year" (Lead411's wording) | Optional |
The page says unused exports roll over, technographic search and verified emails and direct dials are included, and emails are "re-verified every 3-6 months". It doesn't publish a bounce credit policy.
UpLead and Cognism on the same points
| UpLead | Cognism | |

| Entry plan | Essentials $99/month (170 credits), or $74/month billed annually | Standard (5 seats) |
| Intent data | Buyer intent on Professional only (custom) | Bombora Company Surge on Pro; up to 12 topics |
| Technographics | Plus and Professional | "Technology usage" listed; tier not clear |
| Credit model | One credit = one contact (email and mobile) | One credit per revealed contact; re-viewing is free |
| Accuracy claim | "data accuracy rate of 95%" | Not stated as a number on the page |

Sources: UpLead pricing and Cognism pricing, both read 3 November 2026. We haven't tested either vendor's data; the table is what their pages say.
A note on accuracy claims: vendors measure them differently, on their own samples, at their own time. A 95% figure on one page and none on another tells you nothing about how either performs on your target accounts. Our post on questions to ask a B2B data vendor lists what to ask about how a number was measured.
The split-stack option
The Reddit team liked Lead411's technographics and contract-timing signals. If that's true for you too, there's a cheaper path than migrating everything:
- Keep the data vendor for intent and technographics.
- Check exported emails before they go into a sequence, so the bounces stop landing on your domains.
- Use a separate, cheaper source for the contacts the vendor can't find.
This doesn't fix mobile numbers, which are the hardest data to keep fresh anywhere. It does separate the two problems: signal quality, which is a vendor decision, and email deliverability, which you can control on every export. Our guide to finding work emails for a large lead list covers step 3.
Test before you switch
Don't decide on a demo. Run the same test on each option:
- Pick 300 target accounts you know well, including some that recently bought.
- Pull contacts from each trial for the same accounts and titles.
- Check the emails at /verify and record valid, risky and invalid per vendor. Use the email list sampler if you want a random sample from a bigger pull.
- Check the intent against what you know: does it flag the accounts that recently bought from a competitor as "surging"?
- Dial 20 mobiles per vendor and count connects.
Three hundred rows is enough to see a large gap; it isn't enough to separate two vendors a few points apart. Our post on lead data quality dropping before renewal shows how to put a range around a bounce rate, so you don't argue over noise.
Ask these at renewal or signup
- Is there a credit refund for bounced emails, and how is a bounce proven? Our post on lead data bounce credit refunds shows what other vendors offer.
- How old is the last verification on the contacts I'm exporting?
- Which intent provider is it, how many topics, and how often does it refresh?
- Is intent included in my tier, or an add-on?
Where SimpleVerifier fits
SimpleVerifier isn't a data vendor and doesn't sell intent data or contacts. It checks the emails you export from any of them before you send. The first 100 checks are free with a Google sign-in on the verify page. Pro is $39 a month with the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off, and one-time packs of 10,000 checks for $15 never expire. See pricing.
Common questions
What is a good Lead411 alternative with intent data?
On published terms, UpLead offers buyer intent on its Professional plan and Cognism offers Bombora intent on its Pro plan; both are custom-priced at that tier. Which is better depends on your region and the data for your target accounts, so run the same test list through each trial.
How much does Lead411 cost?
Lead411's pricing page (read 3 November 2026) lists Spark at $49 a month for 1,000 exports, Ignite from $150 a month for 1,000+ exports with API access, Spark annual at $490 a year for 12,000 exports with buyer intent included, Ignite annual at $1,500 a year with intent as an add-on, and Blaze at custom pricing.
Does Lead411 refund credits for bounced emails?
Its pricing page shows a 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' heading but no details, and we didn't find a published bounce credit policy. Ask sales for the policy in writing before renewal.
Should I switch data vendors because of bounces?
Measure first. Compare the bounce rate on a fresh pull with what you got when you started, using enough contacts to be sure. If only the emails are the problem, checking them before sending may cost less than migrating intent and technographic workflows.
