Hunter vs Reoon: Premium Suite or Budget Verifier?

··2 min read

Reoon costs a fraction of Hunter for verification: 10,000 checks are $11.90 as a one-time pack, while Hunter's Growth plan is $149 a month for 20,000. You pay Hunter's price for the finder, the extension and outreach, not for cheaper checks.

Re-checking every month

Checks a month Hunter Reoon (packs) SimpleVerifier
10,000 $149 $11.90 $39 (Pro)
50,000 $299 $58.95 $39 (Pro)
100,000 Custom $116.40 $39 (Pro)

On price alone Reoon wins at 10,000 a month, and SimpleVerifier Pro wins from about 35,000 a month up. Pro is $39 a month: the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off. See pricing.

What price doesn't show

The cheaper the check, the more the catch-all rule matters. Reoon and Hunter both bill a catch-all row and return it as a pass of sorts (Reoon counts it as a successful verification; Hunter labels it accept-all). On B2B lists that can be a large share of rows, and those are where bounces hide.

SimpleVerifier never guesses a catch-all is valid. Those rows come back risky with a higher, medium or lower likelihood grade, so you can send the strongest in a separate campaign and hold the rest. Read catch-all leads in sequences or test a domain with the free catch-all checker.

Who fits where

  • Hunter: your team prospects in Hunter and sends from it.
  • Reoon: you clean small and mid-size lists now and then, and want the lowest per-check price.
  • Flat plan: you verify tens of thousands of leads every month.

Fair test

Run the same 500 rows through each free tier, then compare row by row with the verifier comparison tool. We don't publish accuracy figures for any vendor; your own bounces are the only result that counts.

Common questions

Is Reoon cheaper than Hunter?

Much cheaper for verification. On 6 November 2026 Reoon listed 10,000 instant credits for $11.90 and 100,000 for $116.40. Hunter's cheapest plan covering 10,000 checks a month is Growth at $149.

Do Reoon credits expire?

Reoon's instant credits never expire. Its daily-plan credits reset each day. Hunter's monthly credits reset each month on monthly billing.

Does Reoon charge for catch-all emails?

Yes. Reoon's FAQ counts catch-all as a successful verification, one credit. Unknown results are refunded. Hunter also charges for accept-all and not for unknown.

Why would I pay Hunter's price?

For the finder, the Chrome extension, enrichment and sequences. If you only need to clean a list, a dedicated verifier costs less.
