Hunter vs Bouncer: Suite Credits or a Dedicated Verifier?
Bouncer is cheaper if you only need to verify: 10,000 checks cost $60 as a one-time pack, while Hunter needs its $149-a-month Growth plan to cover that many. Hunter wins on convenience when you already find leads and send sequences inside it, because verification comes out of the same credit pool.
Prices were read on Hunter's pricing page, Hunter's verifier page and Bouncer's pricing page on 6 November 2026.
Prices side by side
Hunter charges 0.5 credit per verification, so the checks column is credits times two.

Who each one suits
- Hunter: you live in Hunter. You find emails there, verify them there and send from there. A separate verifier only saves money if you also verify leads from other sources.
- Bouncer: you buy or scrape leads from several places and want a verifier whose credits sit in the account until you need them.
- A flat plan: you re-check tens of thousands of leads every month and want one predictable number.
If you keep Hunter for finding, export the leads and clean them before the sequencer. Our Hunter export to email list tool pulls the email column out, and the email list cleaner removes duplicates and obvious junk for free before you spend any credits.
Catch-all rows
B2B lists are full of catch-all domains. A check there can only say "the server accepts everything", not "this person exists". SimpleVerifier never marks those valid: they come back risky with a higher, medium or lower likelihood grade. See catch-all email verification and the free catch-all checker.
Test before you commit
Run the same 500 rows through each tool on the free credits, send only to the valid rows, and count bounces. Our bench test guide has the method. We do not publish accuracy figures for any vendor.

Common questions
Is Bouncer cheaper than Hunter?
For verification, yes. On 6 November 2026 Bouncer's pricing page listed 10,000 checks for $60 and 100,000 for $400. Hunter's Growth plan is $149 a month for 10,000 credits, which is 20,000 verifications at 0.5 credit each.
Do Bouncer credits expire?
No. Bouncer's pricing page says its email verification credits never expire. Hunter's monthly credits reset each month and don't roll over.
Why would anyone verify in Hunter?
Because they already find emails and send campaigns in Hunter. Verification is built into the same account and credit pool, so there is no export step.
Does either guarantee results on catch-all domains?
No tool can confirm a mailbox on a domain that accepts every address. Hunter labels these accept-all. Treat catch-all rows as risky whichever tool you use.
Check your list before you send
Real mailbox checks over SMTP, and nothing is sent to the address. Sign in with Google and your first 100 email checks are free, no card. Plans for bigger lists are on the pricing page.
