DeBounce Alternatives: When to Stay, and When Something Else Fits Better
DeBounce is one of the lowest-priced email verifiers on published pricing, $25 for 10,000 one-off checks with credits that never expire, so for small or occasional lists the honest advice is to stay with it. An alternative makes sense when you verify very large volumes every month, want phone validation in the same tool, or need a feature DeBounce does not offer.
What DeBounce charges
From the DeBounce pricing page, read on 12 October 2026:
| Volume | Pay as you go | Monthly plan |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | $15 | $13.80 a month |
| 10,000 | $25 | $23 a month |
| 25,000 | $45 | $41.40 a month |
| 50,000 | $75 | $69 a month |
| 100,000 | $135 | $124.20 a month |
| 1,000,000 | $750 | See page |
Pay-as-you-go credits never expire, according to the page.
When to stay with DeBounce
Stay if any of these describe you:
- You clean one list now and then. A one-off 10,000 list for $25 is less than one month of most flat plans.
- You verify under about 10,000 a month. DeBounce's monthly plan at that size is $23.
- You are happy with the results. If bounces after verification are low and catch-all addresses are clearly labelled, there is no reason to move.
Our own DeBounce comparison page says the same thing: at those volumes, use DeBounce.
When an alternative fits better
| Situation | Why an alternative can fit |
|---|---|
| You verify well over 100,000 a month, including re-checks | Per-credit costs keep growing; a flat plan does not |
| You also clean phone numbers | One upload for both saves a step |
| You need a feature they do not offer | Such as a specific integration, email finder or website enrichment |
| You want to compare result quality | A second opinion on a sample is useful anyway |

What else SimpleVerifier's plan includes
If you are weighing a move, compare the whole plan, not just the email checks. Depending on the plan (see pricing), SimpleVerifier includes:
- Email verification, with CSV uploads up to 100,000 rows per file and no charge for duplicates or addresses we could not check
- Email finder (name and company to address) and website enrichment
- Phone number validation: format, country and number type
- Catch-all, disposable and role-address detection
- API access on plans that include it
Live carrier lookups for phones are a paid extra. If you only need email checks on small lists, none of that is worth paying for, and DeBounce remains the cheaper choice.
How to compare result quality
Price is only half of it. Run the same sample through both tools:
- Take 300 to 500 addresses at random from a recent list using the email list sampler.
- Verify them in both tools on the same day.
- Compare catch-all and unknown counts, and look closely at rows where the tools disagree.
How to bench test email verifiers explains how to make it a fair test.
What to look for in a test
When you run a sample through DeBounce and another tool, compare more than the headline split:
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Catch-all labelling | Clear separation lets you decide whether to send |
| Unknowns | High unknowns mean more re-checks and manual decisions |
| Role and disposable flags | Needed for cold outreach filtering |
| Export format | Original columns kept, segments separate |
| Speed on your list size | Matters if you verify right before sending |
If both tools give similar results, choose on price and convenience. If they disagree a lot, look closely at the disputed rows before trusting either one.
